    Phlebotomy Learnership Co-ordinator - Centurion

    Purpose of Position:

    To co-ordinate the phlebotomy learnership programme for the Ampath Group.

    Requirements:

    Certificate: Community Counselling, Post Graduate Diploma: Project Management, Registered Assessor, Registered Facilitator, Registered Modertor

    Required Experience:

    • Experience in a medical environment, Experiential training in a training laboratory
    • Knowledge: Associated Health Science Professions Amendments Act
    • Knowledge: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Knowledge: Employment Equity Act (EEA)
    •  Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Health and Wellfare SETA regulations, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations
    • Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel
    • Knowledge: MS PowerPoint, Knowledge: MS Word
    •  Knowledge: National Skills Development strategy (NSD)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess and consult on phlebotomy learnership regulations and legislation in order to ensure compliance with the necessary legislative procedures

    • HPCSA, SETA and SARS legislative procedures
    • Design and develop training material to ensure training standards are maintained

    Debtors Officer II - Centurion

    Purpose of Position:

    Attend to customer queries, collect outstanding Debt, process financial transactions and perform administration tasks

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12

    Required Experience:

    • Knowledge: Google and Google Mail
    • Knowledge: Meditech system
    •  Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: Open Office

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Allocate, process and reconcile patient, medical aid, client and company payments, and process list enquiries to ensure correct processing on accounts
    •  Collect outstanding debt in order to achieve the departmental targets
    • Compile reports to provide feedback to management
    • Maintain good client relations via In / Out bound calls
    •  Perform administrative tasks to ensure accurate record keeping

    Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Phlebotomist

    Purpose of Position:

    To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession.

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma: Nursing
    • SANC Registration in Relevant Register
    • Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)

    Required Experience:

    • Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: National Health Act
    • Knowledge: Nursing Council Scope of Practice
    • Phlebotomy experience in a laboratory environment

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath
    •  Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered
    •  Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information
    • Perform nursing procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services.
    • Perform safety and quality control tasks to ensure that relevant standards are upheld.
