    Beauty Specialist - Somerset West

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Demonstrates customer service through customer promises

    • No customer unseen or unserved
    • Identify customer needs to provide optimal service by 
    • Takes responsibility for serving the customer and finding solutions to customers’ queries.
    • Actively manage the client registry by sourcing new customers and managing existing    
    • Approach all customers and offer assistance in the beauty department.

    Applies selling skills

    • Meets customers' needs and expectations by asking, listening to, and advising them about the available options/services/products.
    • Offers alternatives to the customer if merchandise is not available.

    Effective management of stock

    • View and print reports to better understand stock movement and department growth.

    Technical Skills:

    • Experience in working and achieving beauty sales targets highly advantageous

    Central Pricing Data Analyst

    Job description

    Create and maintain a single source of truth for Foods Pricing data

    • Collect, prepare and maintain pricing source data as input to the Pricing Dashboard.
    • Maintain and enhance the Pricing Dashboard user interface to deliver intuitive, relevant and value-adding pricing insights.
    • Manage the process of consolidating Role & Price Tier UDA attributes with the Commercial Pricing Specialists & sharing this info with Food Ops in a timeous manner.
    • Management of the Pricing Basket indicators and ensuring they are maintained for accurate weekly basket reporting.
    • Ensure quality, accuracy and consistency of information received. Ensure regular communication between stakeholders, ensuring that all relevant teams are aware of any data integrity issues which may affect price reporting & communication issues to all stakeholders.

    Innovation & Continuous Improvement

    • Collaborate with Category Commercial Specialists & BI team to identify opportunities to enhance current functionality of the Competitor Dashboard & implement changes as required.
    • Identify areas for BAU process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Keep abreast of competitor and leading industry Pricing strategies. 

    Build capabilities of Sales Development and Buying matrix teams to leverage pricing analysis and reporting tools.

    • Proactively foster a price conscious mindset in all stakeholder engagements.
    • Transfer knowledge, insights and equip the Sales Development and Buying teams with the skills required to leverage pricing tools and reports developed.

    Documentation of process

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of current process & update as enhancements and improvements are made.

    Training

    • Where required, provide training to both new and existing users of the Trusted Price Dashboard & Competitor Dashboard to demonstrate the features and functionalities.

    Integrate within the Sales Development team.

    • Work closely Category Pricing Specialists, where applicable, to update and maintain Category pricing data in line with the Foods Pricing strategy and architecture.
    • Work with internal teams to define and translate functional requirements to advance Price reporting and analytics capabilities to proactively support the changing needs of the business.

    Minimum requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or Mathematics, or equivalent educational qualification
    • Min of 5 years working experience, 3 years’ experience in analytics
    • Min 2 years Retail experience
    • Highly numerated and structured with a strong analytical mind.
    • Able to work to demanding timelines whilst maintaining high standards and levels of accuracy.
    • Able to work with large volumes of data.
    • High degree of commercial awareness and can make the links between product quality, pricing, profit and customer value.
    • Able to analyze complex data and make recommendations in support of the Foods Pricing strategy, minimize risk, and drive financial KPI’s.
    • Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated experience in data analysis.

    Senior Planning - - WEdit

    Job description

    Develop and Execute Merchandise Financial Plan

    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to compile and develop a departmental strategy in line with Group strategy.
    • Develop merchandise plan to anticipate seasonal differences in demand and minimise various risks.
    • Develop and present seasonal department budget and merchandise financial plans, including OTB strategy, channel strategy, range and price architecture, promotional and clearance plan, and assortment plans to leadership for sign off.
    • Consider all group inputs, including strategic initiatives, key operational metrics, and post-seasonal analysis.
    • Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to inform MFP.
    • Manage the release of OTB (Open-to-Buy) to ensure alignment of sales and stock KPI’s.
    • Review & revise department financial plan monthly in line with trading ensuring delivery of all KPI’s.

    Develop and execute Assortment Plan

    • Partner with Buying to provide a balanced assortment and option plan based on thorough post-seasonal analysis, strategy, space and application of trends.
    • Partner with Buying to develop and present the price architecture and provide guidance on the appropriate number of price points per category.
    • Conduct product review and present final volumes and established flow of newness over time.
    • Review and ensure grade assortment can be executed given available space & customer insights reports.
    • Ensure a disciplined application of the attribute framework in the assortment plan.

    Develop and Execute Optimised Inventory Management

    • Manage stock commitments, reporting and targets at all levels and ensure effective management of intake and flow of stock, warehouse utilisation & processes.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to review inventory against plan and propose amendments in line with KPI delivery.
    • Share planning forecast and range plan with Sourcing Specialists to inform high-level and detailed capacity plan across Groups.

    Leveraging insights

    • Pre-season engagement with Central Planning Analysts to review and refine analytics (APS, Profiles & Sales Profiler)
    • Analyse customer feedback, sales data, and market trends to make data-driven decisions and better inform future product demand.
    • Manage planning admin in all applicable systems in line with the requirements of the Woolworths merchandise cycle.
