    Field Engineer - Gauteng

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Secure technical business opportunities through specifications and provide ongoing technical support to key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the sales teams to convert specifications and approvals into sales, while fostering expertise in our engineering products among sales personnel.
    • Maximize sales potential by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities with targeted customer groups and projects.
    • Manage sales and application processes for key regional projects, coordinating all engineering and sales resources effectively.
    • Develop, analyze, and manage business plans to cultivate and expand sales within your assigned customer base.

    Account Manager (Power)

    Role Responsibilities:

    • You will take the ownership in the assigned territory to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process to effectively analyze, implement and control the opportunities within the territory to achieve the assigned targets for defined territory or market segment.
    • You will also build fruitful working relationships with all levels - partners, contractors, system integrators & end users, and actively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory by targeting the appropriate customer groups and ensure successful introduction of new products.
    • You will ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform, to develop profitable growth.
    • You will actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test Hilti products; and to be successful you must understand the market thoroughly and know the players, therefore you will obtain information on competition, market price levels, new launches, seminars, new outlets, quality issues, product deliveries and report in monthly reports.

    What you need is:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Completed degree/diploma (preferred but not a must).
    • Relevant sales / direct technical sales experience in the relevant sector i.e. Power Generation, Distribution or Transmission.
    • Doing business with large and complex organizations within the Power Sector in South Africa.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in MS Office.

    Credit Collection & Customer Accounting Lead

    What does the role involve?

    • As C&C Manager, you will translate the company strategy into departmental targets, set ambitious targets and hold yourself and your team accountable for delivering outstanding results.
    • You will ensure customer satisfaction through onsite visits, timely resolution of complaints, and the approval or recommendation of credit adjustments within defined approval guidelines. You will lead and contribute to strategic departmental and cross-functional projects to support organizational direction and strategy in areas of focus, including digitalization of internal and external processes, as well as creating value-added financial services.
    • From an operational perspective, you will ensure the rollout and execution of improvement cycles for the internal control system and internal audit follow-ups for your area – you’re the champion for Internal Control systems within the Credit & Collection team, as well as the Market Organisations. Managing relevant compliance checks related to accounts receivables is part of your role, along with cash collection, credit application and payment allocations, and you will proactively monitor the external environment, collaborating with Finance Business Partners to identify local risks & opportunities.
    • You also support Finance IT in improving our Credit & Collection software and processes by managing local testing rounds and identifying new process improvement opportunities in close collaboration with the global process managers.
    • As a team leader, you will lead by example and in close cooperation with the sales management team to solve customer related credit & payment issues, having the overall customer relationship in mind. You will use a variety of leadership styles, to evaluate performance and development opportunities, and influence, educate, develop and support leaders in all functions, to drive business performance to achieve the company strategies.

    What you need is:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • Master's degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
    • 5 years’ experience in a Credit and & Collection role preferred; otherwise, related experience in finance, consultancy or auditing role within a multinational organization
    • Evidence of leadership and people management
