Datacentrix is looking for a RedHat Technical Specialist. The individual will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Red Hat environment within a number of specified customer environments.

This includes implementation of new initiatives within the environments.

You should be able to troubleshoot and support all the components within a complex RHEL deployment, including:

• Insights.
• Red Hat Satellite.
• Ansible.
• OpenShift Container Platform.

Qualifications and Experience Required: 

• Matric and Diploma/Degree in Information Technology
• Minimum 5 years in managing RHEL Operating System
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Ansible
• Good working knowledge of OpenShift.
• Good knowledge of network concepts such as Load Balancers, Firewalls, VLANs and Subnets.
• Certified Red Hat Engineer (RHCE)

Role Accountabilities:

• Daily administration of RHEL Environment.
• Troubleshoot errors experienced.
• Daily feedback report.
• Work closely with the rest of support team

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and manage a complex RHEL infrastructure, including virtual network configuration, storage allocation, and configuration of RHEL and HA to meet the requirements of a RHEL environment.
• Monitor tools and applications with regards to the RHEL environments and the underlying Linux infrastructure.
• Perform activities that support user needs, including determining user rights & levels, conducting compatibility testing for new equipment, making system updates/ upgrades, troubleshooting systems equipment and connectivity issues, and scheduling and testing of update packages.
• Creating and maintaining Virtual Images.
• Create and maintain operational and configuration documentation related to the supported RHEL environments.
• Create and maintain Ansible Policies.

 Duties

• Reconcile creditors/supplier accounts and prepare EFT payments
• Process invoices/expenses
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Process and apply payments and credit notes
• Resolving creditors queries
• Ensuring creditors/suppliers are paid on time

 Minimum requirements

• Grade 12
• A minimum of 5 years’ creditors experience
• Must have extensive Excel experience
• Great Plains knowledge/experience advantageous
• Ability to work in a pressurized environment and meet deadlines
• Accounting and accruals knowledge
• Hybrid working environment

• Query Resolution: Address all credits and queries.
• Compliance Knowledge: Understand and adhere to POPIA/FICA requirements.

Requirements

• Matric qualification 
• Related qualification in Credit Management 
• 1-4 years of experience in credit control/full function debtors in a corporate environment
• Attention to detail/accuracy

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly pack and all other reports required by management
• Maintain IFRS policies and procedures
• Taxation responsibilities in terms of income tax, PAYE, VAT and any other related taxation issues
• Special projects and ad-hoc assignments
• Review commission calculations
• Completion and review of key group finance schedules prior to submission
• Daily operational issues addressed and resolved in a timely manner with appropriate escalation
• Monitor Finance compliance related tasks
