    Junior Marketer

    What does the job entail?

    • Collaborate with buying team to grow supplier investment in mutually beneficial owned-channel campaigns, building supplier relationships and driving profitability
    • Conceiving and managing those campaigns,in collaboration with the internal creative team
    • Coordinating and managing daily newsletters between the marketing, creative, buying and planning teams, in support of marketing objectives and online income growth
    • Creating annual plans for Yuppiechef's key private label, exclusive and direct import brands

    What are the requirements and attributes?

    • 3-6 years’ experience in Omnichannel retail marketing

    Senior Designer & Manager

    What does the job entail?

    • Owning and guiding the Yuppiechef brand’s visual identity
    • Leading the conceptual creative thinking for marketing campaigns – mostly in social media, display, digital video, print, store windows and in-store, though we’re always looking for new channel opportunities
    • Empathetically managing and growing a design team capable of technically executing your concepts – allocating projects between you and them, and ensuring they’re on track
    • Art directing and styling internal campaign shoots

    What are the requirements?

    • You’ll need to have had 7-10 years’ experience as a designer, including at least 1-2 years of management experience
    • A world-class portfolio that demonstrates the level of skill and experience required for this role
    • 2+ years’ experience working in an ad agency would be a big help in working with creative briefs, and showing collaborative skills, working with writers, photographers, etc
    • Work experience with omnichannel retailers would be a benefit
    • You’ll need to be a skilled user of Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign – and be confident enough to train and grow mid-level designers. Video editing skills would be beneficial.
    • Ideally, you’ll have a tertiary qualification in graphic design from an accredited art/design school

    • We’re looking for a full-time Senior Software Developer to help refine and shape Yuppiechef’s applications and software architecture as we grow and scale.

    What does the job entail?

    • Technical speccing and project planning according to business requirements and objectives
    • Leading the execution of software development projects and contributing to the development cycle
    • Driving our software architecture and maintenance
    • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to more junior team members

    What are the requirements?

    • You’ll typically need to have more than 10 years’ experience as a developer, building web and mobile applications for real customers — either freelance or working for a studio, or in-house in a similar environment
    • A world-class development portfolio spanning across different applications that demonstrates the level of skill and experience required for this role, and the impact your work has had on the businesses you’ve worked for

    You’ll need to show these specific skills and coding languages:

    • Functional programming languages like Clojure (preferable) or experience with languages like Scala, Go, C#, Ruby or PHP
    • A strong command of MySQL (MariaDB) database
    • A strong command of Message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka) and job schedulers
    • A good understanding AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud infrastructure and services

    Demand Planner - ES

    Who we’re looking for

    • We are looking for an Demand Planner to join our tight-knit and high-performing team. Quick and efficient communication is your superpower. You’ll be responsible for analyzing stock and sales, stock turn, return on investment, forecasting stock needed and plan orders accordingly. 
    • You will analyze overstocks and flag concerns and/or opportunities.

    • Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for forecasting stock requirements, drafting stock orders and the logistics around those orders.
