    Qualification & experience

    •    The recruit must have obtained a full qualification (120 Credits. at NQF level 4 would be required and NQF level 5 would be advantageous Categories B1 and B2) as per the FSB’s list of recognized qualifications at the point of recruitment. 
    •    Must have RE5
    •    RE1 is business requirement from the date of appointment

    Class of business (COB): 

    Should the candidate have been deemed Fit and Proper for Tier 1 by 01 April 2018, the candidate is then deemed competent for Class of Business. All applicants that were still under supervision for any competency requirement pre or post 01 April 2018 will be required to have obtained Class of Business prior to appointment. If a potential candidate has not completed Class of Business they are still deemed to be under supervision and cannot be appointed as a Branch Manager.

    Short-term Insurance Sales Consultant: Sanlam Direct Cape (PG 7)

    • 30 FAIS Credits – Advantageous (Short-term Insurance)

    Change Manager

    What will you do?

    • Support the Head of BI and the Service Delivery Lead to manage different stakeholder expectations and relationships (inside and outside of Sanlam Investments).

    • Build and manage strategies, roadmaps, priorities, processes, complex dependencies and issues related to change, training, resistance management and adoption.

    • Manage and deliver BI marketing and communication plans (including newsletters, Town Hall Updates, Community of Practice (COP) events, and other.

    • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training in support of all aspects of the BI business unit- new or changed BI processes, knowledge growth, and new BI products.

    • Continuously seek opportunities to increase the level of satisfaction the wider business experiences from the BI business unit.

    • Act as the BI change and adoption liaison with the Head of BI and Business transformation change manager and/or head and drive adoption of BI services.

    • Conduct assessments with business to assess impact, BI related change readiness, risk and identify key stakeholders as required to structure appropriate change approaches.

    • Support the Head of BI and Human Resources in continuously maturing the BI operating model from a people perspective, which includes organisational design, definition of roles and acquiring top talent.

    • Successful delivery of Change Management procedures and methodologies

    • Business benefit, Risk and Impact assessment of all changes

    • Monitor and report on the status of Changes

    • Liaise with Stakeholders and technical staff with regards to Scheduled Changes.

    • Negotiate appropriate change windows with Business.

    • Assist with creating a healthy balance between BI turnaround times and minimizing the impact of changes in terms of risks, reduce disruptions and cost to the Business.

    • Responsible for Post Implementation Reviews and supporting business to determine their value realization 

    • Regular review of system Workflow approvals

    • Monthly and quarterly reporting

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • ITIL Foundation or/ and Change Management Practitioners Certification or/ and Transition Management Practitioner Certification. (Recommended)

    • 5 - 7 Years IT Experience

    • 3+ years experience in a Change Management role is essential

    • Project Management/co-ordinating experience will be a recommendation

    • Business process management

    • Understanding of ITIL Governance.

    • Release & Configuration Management experience will be advantageous

    • Technical background will be advantageous

    Reporting Specialist

    What will you do?

    The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for providing reports on key metrics to enable to the Institutional team to deliver excellent service backed with quality information.

    Responsible for developing of reports which will include:

    • Client SLA reporting

    • Regulatory reporting

    • Oversight of fund performance and fees

    • Profitability reporting

    • Ad Hoc Client requests

    • Prepare and maintain fund database from which fund performance and holdings for clients may be derived

    • Coordinate with various internal and external teams to ensure all data is collated, checked and delivered per internal SLAs in order to meet reporting deadlines

    • Identify and escalate possible issues in data accuracy and presentation of client report

    • Assist in process, innovation and data improvement projects

    • Respond to inquiries, on both a recurring and ad hoc basis related to reporting and fund data.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom/ BBusSci or similar)

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Financial Services industry

    • Knowledge and understanding of financial markets legislation such as CISCA, BN90, BN 52 and Regulation 28, etc. would be beneficial

    • Excellent Microsoft Skills

    • Morningstar experience would be advantageous
