    Project Manager

    Job Description

    Plan, manage and track projects of varying complexity, priority and risk

    • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the project sponsor and senior management.
    • Create and maintain project charters by collaborating with cross-functional and / or cross-organisational teams.
    • Determine and agree with the project sponsor and the change manager the objectives and measures that will be evaluated when the project is delivered.
    • Create and manage project design, schedule and budget according to plan and determine the resources required to deliver the project.
    • Facilitate, coordinate and track day-to- day activities to ensure the project meets the critical milestones to realise identified benefits.
    • Review and revise the project schedule with senior management and the project team as required.
    • Develop forms and records to document project activities.
    • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
    • Working with the communication, change and Human Resource team, establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders in the organisation on the progress and potential impact of the project at the right time.
    • Collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts and / or technical partners to deliver high quality solutions.
    • Regularly report to key stakeholders on project status, risks, spend against budget and dependencies to ensure delivery of the project and its objectives.
    • Proactively identify risks to the project’s success and maintain a project risk log with effective action plans to resolve issues.

    Digital Campaign Specialist

    This is a specialist role for Old Mutual Marketing and Communications that provides thought leadership around all aspects concerning on-line expression of the brand. The Digital Campaign Specialist is responsible for executing day-to-day digital marketing operations with an emphasis on paid search, retargeting and paid social advertising. The role supports all paid media for Old Mutual across various business units and products and will deliver digital marketing tactics that coincide with company marketing cycles and business needs, and be responsible for monitoring paid campaign effectiveness, making recommendations on adjustments and creating opportunities to increase marketing ROI. A solid understanding of the principles of performance based marketing and conversion rate optimization is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with digital marketing implementations and have a strong background in financial services and analytics-driven decision making. Success in this role will be measured by online channel ROI and consistent, accurate reporting.

    Job Description

    • Develop, execute and optimize digital campaigns via paid search/AdWords, display/retargeting and paid social advertising channels.
    • Lead the execution of paid acquisition marketing programs to acquire quality leads as well as new business acquisition.
    • Execute rapid deployment of online campaigns based on the needs of each business.
    • Develop and manage ongoing testing to further optimize ad creatives, landing pages and targeting segmentation.
    • Assist with evaluating and implementing the right analytics platform for the business and lead and champion adoption across the organization to enable end-to-end tracking for marketing efforts to conversion.
    • Collaborate closely with Digital Portfolio Managers to go beyond reporting in order to evaluate conversion funnel effectiveness.
    • Assist the data team with full systems integration such as Google Analytics
    • Measure, analyze and report on the impact paid marketing campaigns.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years in digital marketing or a related field.
    • 1+ years’ experience in financial services
    • Hands-on experience managing B2C campaigns.
    • Direct experience managing paid search through Google AdWords
    • Familiarity working with Google online marketing SaaS products (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, DV360)
    • Direct experience managing paid social media advertising on Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter
    • Experience with keyword research, competitive insights and other analytics tools, such as SEOProfiler
    • Experience in application of landing pages best practices and CRO.
    • Google AdWords and Facebook Blueprint certification a big plus.
    • Working knowledge of l CMS, HTML, and CSS a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills and comfort breaking down and attacking open ended problems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to build strong relationships inside and out of the organization.
    • Strong project management skills: ability to juggle multiple projects, organize and prioritize, and respond quickly to changes.
    • Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal.
    • Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage tasks.
    • Desire to be a digital thought leader and influencer to the growth and culture of a unique experiential business.
    • Must be willing and able to make data-driven decisions and function in a ROI driven environment
    • Continuous test-and-learn mentality.

    Role Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Matric
    • Min 12 months e xperience in a sales or service unit within the Financial Services industry
    • Proven sales track record would be advantageous
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    • High on initiating action to convert leads into appointments
    • High quality orientation
    • Effectively meeting client needs; and giving customers a great Old Mutual brand experience.
