    Commercial Specialist - Johannesburg

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Management of the planning and scheduling of all resources to ensure work is executed in accordance with Engineering Standards, Service level agreements and also drive optimal stock level in the distribution facilities in accordance with Inventory management principles to ensure cost effectiveness of the entire operation. This includes exploring and seeking various workable commercial frameworks, work in collaborations with all the departments in reviewing, scrutinizing and developing efficient and effective systems and process flow.

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Monitor and ensure regional on time service delivery as per SLA's or as agreed with Client
    • Pro-actively interact and engage with the client to understand areas of improvement and ensure that turn-around times are shortened to the satisfaction of the client.
    • Ensure relevant feedback, information and reports are prepared, submitted and presented to various stakeholders on all aspects of service delivery and profitability.
    • Leading, facilitating, developing and implementing relevant resource management process improvements in order to achieve SLA targets
    • Management of the regional store inventory, churn & asset (Tools & equipment) budget, ensuring that proper utilization of allocated budget and being able to provide valid variance explanation on P&L’s. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to financial management, controls and expenditure authorization levels.
    • Monitor the productivity of all Human Capital allocated to the regional resource section and ensure that all human capital operate to capacity. Effectively deal with non-performance and destructive behavior which might jeopardize Bidvest FM standing with the Client.
    • Ensure Health & Safety is a primary function and all mechanisms, processes and procedures are in place, monitored and adhered to at all times
    • Ensuring through Supply Chain that the region has competent and diligent service providers to utilize in cases of emergencies and that such service providers are compliant with Bidvest FM BBBEE strategy.
    • Coaching, mentoring and counseling of staff not performing to the required standards and ensuring that employees improve on performance gaps highlighted during informal sessions and performance appraisals.

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • National Diploma in Property Management, Facility Management, Resource Planning, Logistics or Engineering Studies
    • Matric

    • Minimum 3 Years’ experience in planning & scheduling including exposure to Logistics /Inventory Management. Ideally have exposure to SAP maintenance management system or any other Automated Maintenance Management System

    Health, Safety and Environmental Administrator - Midrand

     

    Brief Role Description 

    • Support the SHEQ Manager and Regional Compliance Specialists with HSE document and record management as well as HSE site compliance activities to ensure compliance with the Bidvest Facilities Management Integrated Management System and Vodacom HSE Standards.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Upload the daily induction, daily risk assessment, permits to work and vendor documentation onto the Gate 2
    • Upload all site quality, health, safety and environmental records onto the Vodacom SharePoint (QMS)
    • Maintain the Contractors Gate 2 Files and engage with the contractors to submit and updated their Gate 2 Files regularly
    • Maintain and schedule HSE Training to ensure compliance with OHS Act and Vodacom Standards
    • Upload SHEQ documents and records to SharePoint and Gate 2 File
    • Update the HSE Incident Register and ensure that all WCC documents are submitted and uploaded on RIMS and or SAP IOD Systems.
    • Attend HSE Meetings and keep minutes
    • Assist with Tools, vehicle, PPE, etc inspections and ensure that records are uploaded onto the Gate 2
    • Assist the HSE team with other tasks when required
    • Participate and Support  SHEQ Manager and Regional Compliance Specialists in internal and external audits (e.g., Gate 1, client audits, ISO certification) and addressing findings as and when required.

    Maintenance Quality Assurance and Site Specialist - Johannesburg

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Maintaining the Site Maintenance on Vodacom sites as per the required Scope of Work as specified by the Customer. Drive planned preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on all non-network infrastructure such as Air-Conditioning, Electrical plant and general infrastructure to give effect to the business maintenance strategy and client service standards. Providing technical support to County Managers, Portfolio Managers/Junior Portfolio Managers.

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Ensure the quality and acceptances of the Vodacom sites as specified by the Customer- according to schedule 2.21 Scope of Work and any instructions/standards provided are followed.
    • Meet the daily/weekly/monthly Target per County as required.
    • QA and Acceptance Specialist must ensure Tools, Vehicles, Test Equipment, Laptops, Cellphones are looked after and checked for condition and ensure all of these are safe for use and maintained on a register.
    • QA and Acceptance Specialist must ensure he/she complies with and adhere to the Health and Safety requirements of Bidvest FM and the client’s requirement as applicable on the site.
    • To ensure that all access procedures as well as work status updates are done in accordance with the agreed procedures and processes.
    • Ensure that all relevant alarms are cleared before leaving a site visit.
    • Ensure that all tasks are updated, as required on the provided tools and systems.
    • Ensure that all required activities are completed, as per the scope of work, either on an “A”, “B”, “C” or Adhoc service. Ensure that all required pictures are taken according to guidelines and submitted, as per the scope of work for the relevant services being performed.
    • Ensure that all site procedures are always followed as specified by the client.

    Safety Officer - Johannesburg

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Develop systems to ensure all employees comply with all relevant legal and safety requirements.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective (safety, risk, environmental management) program and ensure compliance to satisfy the requirements of local (bylaws and national) legislation e.g., the OHS, COID, and Environmental Conservation Acts (NEMA).
    • Identify safety (and specific) training needs, organize and coordinate safety training courses and prepare training material where appropriate.

    ROLE PURPOSE
