Role Description

Looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. The ideal candidate’s primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). This candidate will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain, as well as coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Salary

• R40,000 – R75,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Candidates do not require a client base to join, however the individual should have an ability to network and obtain referrals from booked appointments and satisfied clients. Excellent output based remuneration is on offer. The company offers fee based, independent wealth advice and investment management services to private individuals.

Salary

Commission based. Once established, average earning potential from commission will depend on you; minimum average = R40,000 per month. • Advise the company’s clients on all aspects of offshore financial planning and wealth management
• Adopt a holistic approach in managing long-term relationships with these clients to deliver suitable, independent and beneficial ongoing financial planning and wealth solutions to meet their short and long-term objectives in the offshore markets
• Develop and deliver the agreed business targets whilst remaining compliant and meeting clients’ needs
• Maintain an effective client base management system to provide excellence in customer service and quality holistic advice

Requirements

• Ideally investment and wealth management experience
• BCom qualification or similar finance qualification
• RE5 certification (compulsory)
• Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis
• A thorough understanding of wealth management practices and processes and the ability to communicate them clearly and effectively
• Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide ranging holistic financial planning strategies & solutions
