    Specialist: Business Analysis

    Role Purpose

    • To ensure that user requirements for the business are documented, developed and delivered on, with specific focus on CRM & Provisioning.
    • Ensure the optimal and efficient performance of the Information Services Desk portfolio through the use of digital support tools, automation, governance and frameworks deployed within the company.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • To perform business & systems analysis and design activities by assessing requirements in terms of feasibility, impact and cost, thereby assisting to create and compile accurate user requirement documents.
    • To provide technical input into system definition and design activities and facilitate the delivery of value-added solutions.
    • To perform business impact analysis & assessment of Product & Services and the impact on the Information Services Desk and supporting the Business.
    • To research / investigate current industry trends and standards in terms of technologies deployed / planned to be deployed and how that can enhance / optimise systems and realize efficiencies on the team.
    • To act as a technical liaison between business and the technical teams and to ensure the required support from all areas to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
    • To ensure that projects are delivered according to requirements, specified designs and that the technical and business teams are aligned around the same objectives and deliverables.
    • To ensure that solutions are delivered through the agreed delivery processes and to support the technical teams with the delivery of solutions e.g. facilitation of configuration, testing, rollout coordination
    • To research, define and maintain industry best practices within the Service Delivery Management Division with respect to the above and other delivery processes
    • To maintain, re-evaluate, optimise or automate existing business & system processes.
    • To create reports and feedback to executive and line management
    • To perform quality assurance across business analysis documentation, vendor documentation, proposals, technical designs, test documentation and operational handover documentation
    • To create the necessary documentation & training materials as required, and conduct training as needed.
    • Perform reviews on technology processes,systems and infrastructure with the aim of proactively enhancing the governance and alignment to the associated policies & guiding management on recommendations for closure of findings.
    • The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
    • Must have technical / professional qualifications:
    • 3 Year Degree / equivalent Diploma /equivalent Certificate in Information Technology / Business / Programme Management (essential), and
    • 3- 5 Years business analysis/systems analysis experience preferably in a highly complex environment (essential)
    • 2-3 Years Telecommunication Knowledge & Experience Is Essential
    • ITIL Service Management Foundation is essential
    • An understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) would be beneficial

    Prepaid Go to Market Manager

    Role Purpose

    The Terminals Prepaid GotoMarket role is responsible for developing and executing the prepaid go to market strategy including prepaid channel device sales, collaborating and managing cross-functional delivery teams on the propositions and lifecycle plans for the prepaid device portfolio. Responsible for the coordination of relevant calendars including unbranded channels. formulation and delivery of propositions, ensuring that all elements of the marketing mix are aligned to relevant market segments and delivered against Vodacom’s strategic and commercial objectives of digital inclusion.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Execute best in class go to market plans for the communication and distribution of all prepaid devices.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders on developing and implementing best-in-class device campaigns to develop best value propositions and position Vodacom in unbranded channels.
    • Contribute and support the product, sales, retail marketing and segment teams on product and device roadmap.
    • The role requires strong cross functional partnership across the business; specifically with unbranded sales channel, product, segment, retail marketing and supply chain team.
    • Coordination of the unbranded channel calendars, retail marketing calendar and Vodacom brand prepaid initiatives.
    • Monitor competitor and market developments analyze benchmark reports and report on the competitive landscape.
    • Analyze the proposition performance, and provide reporting on the performance.
    • Responsible for the implementation and recovery of commercially agreed on gotomarket activities supplier funding
    • Identify innovative device and proposition launch strategies and activities where transferred learnings will benefit future launches. Set new industry standards in how prepaid devices are brought to market.
    • Responsible for the delivery of a segment centric gotomarket plan for each prepaid device launch.
    • Monthly competitor and sales, proposition performance tracking and trends reporting.
    • Ensuring that all elements of the marketing mix are aligned to relevant market segment and deliver against Vodacom’s strategic and commercial objectives.
    • Lead large cross-functional teams, able to champion marketing requirements into branded and unbranded channels
    • Ensure alignment of all category GTM projects across SA business. Including;
    • Fit with overall marketing plans
    • Fit with commercial objectives
    • Alignment with terminals strategy

    Qualifications

    • The ideal candidate for this role will have:
    • 3-year degree diploma in marketing
    • Project management – beneficial
    • Financial management diploma/ degree – beneficial

    Senior Specialist: Financial Planning and Analysis

    Role Purpose

    The role is responsible to support the Executive Head and Principal Specialist: Financial Planning and Analysis in ensuring accurate reporting to Vodafone Group, analyzing data, and generating insights from financial reports to drive better insights into business performance. The role is expected to manage all coordination needed with the regions and group to obtain necessary information for analysis, insights, and enablement.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • To ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with requirements for actual and planning cycle
    • Provide support to the Vodacom Subsidiaries during month-end closure, forecast and budget cycles
    • Review and report financial information accurately and timeously
    • Provide insightful management information with focus on month, quarter, half year, and annual results (this includes Board Pack support, Support to Investor Relations and Tax Departments as well as Vodacom Disclosure Committee).
    • Contribute towards the development and improvement of financial policies, procedures and systems of internal controls in line with the Group’s internal control processes.
    • Collating and review of financial data for actual and planning cycles
    • Assist with external reporting to the JSE when required.
    • Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis requests within the division
    • Assist with process automation and testing
    • Preparation of schedules/templates to support the reporting of financial data for actual and planning cycles
    • Maintain relationships with the Group’s major shareholders and with subsidiaries.
    • The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
    • B.Com Accounting Honours degree with 6+ years related experience; or
    • CA / CIMA with 3+ years post articles related experience
    • Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired through related work
