    Job Description

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    • To deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    • Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
    • Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety
    • Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment

    Job Description

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    • To attend to site based emergency calls and provide medical care in line with scope of practice.
    • Appointment for this position is subject to successful completion of physical fitness and medical assessment

    • Administer patient care in line with scope of practice
    • Provide professional emergency services to site based clients

    Required Education

    •  Critical Care Assistant (CCA) or National diploma in emergency medical or Diploma Emergency Medical Care.

    DESIRED EDUCATION

    • Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.
