    Brand Manager: Anti-Infectives

    Job description

    OBJECTIVE: Drive sustainable, profitable growth of the product portfolios/ therapeutic categories with appropriate strategic direction, brand stewardship and commercial acumen.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    (The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role)

    • Strategic Decision making
      • Develop promotional and advertising strategies that grow brand market shares against competitors in all channels (Doctor, Pharmacy & Wholesale)
      • Strategies need to create demand for Brands in portfolio’s by ensuring the necessary support to the sales teams with high levels of energy, motivation, integrity and urgency to help them achieve sales targets
      • Market analysis and gathering insights to arrive at strategic intent
      • Develop succinct portfolio/brand strategies with supporting tactical plans in form of a Brand Plan to drive the strategic intent
      • Successful role out and lead the implementation of tactical plans and monitor the roll out
      • Implementation, monitoring and measurement of the success of the developed strategies and to ensure that they are flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment
      • Anticipate future trends in disease management and the market environment

      • Ability to set sales budgets agreed in the business
      • Compile advertising budget and spend
      • Ability to manage the cross functional networks and channel resources for the portfolio to drive profitable growth

      • Assess market potential of opportunities/pipeline with NPL team to successfully implement new products once launch ready
      • Effectively manage and initiate the required Advertising and promotional campaigns to support execution excellence and maximize ROI
      • Initiate robust measurements for tactical execution outcomes to maximize ROI and future commitment decision making

    Payroll Coordinator

    Job description

    • To ensure that weekly wages payroll is done accurately each week and monthly wages payroll is done accurately each month.
    • To ensure that salary Temps and Permanent employees are paid on time

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Payroll Administration certificate through SAPA – an advantage
    • At least 1-3 years’ experience with Payroll input Relevant experience working with payroll systems or Software
    • At least 1-3 years administration experience
    • Computer literate in MS Packages as well as HRM/Payroll systems is essential
    • Time and Attendance experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer all input for payroll including: Overtime Time, Terminations, Loans, New engagements, Change of Status Forms and allowances.
    • Ensure timeous payments for Long Service Awards are made by the payroll
    • Resolve and attend to all wage and salary related queries
    • Administer annual and sick leave process for all wages and salaries employees and ensure timeous payroll input
    • Administer Educational loans in January, Study loans & advances- input into payroll
    • Administer all third Party Payments for all the payrolls
    • Check Time Sheets for all the employees to ensure the accuracy of the hours claimed.
    • Administer all the pay slips and IRP5’s for all employees
    • Administer all related filing and ensuring that records are audit ready at all times
    • Administer all payroll legislative requirements such as tax directives, UIF forms etc
    • Perform leave reconciliations to ensure that all leave taken is recorded
    • Assume responsibility of uploading general ledger batches into Baan
    • Perform general ledger reconciliations as per requirements
    • Communicates with the Human Resources Department to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes are validated.
    • Checking and Monitoring of hours on the Time and Attendance system
    • Checking and following up on all outstanding leave forms

    BASIC JOB TASKS INCLUSIVE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Compilation and update of documents to be submitted to Regulatory Authorities. This includes compilation of Common Technical Documents.
    • Compilation, update and/or amendment of internal documentation relating to testing and manufacture of APIs. This includes production and cleaning.
    • Compilation of process validation protocols and reports.
    • Implementation of changes in accordance with company procedures relating to the testing and manufacturing process.

    Requirements

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
    • Good knowledge of Chemistry (Analytical and Organic).
    • Proven experience in pharmaceutical, GMP or chemical manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
    • Proven experience in compilation of documents would be advantageous
    • Computer Literacy, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Access etc.
