    Office Coordinator

    Job Description

    Office Coordinator (Cape Town CBD)

    The Intelligent Debt Management (IDM) Group, South Africa’s largest and multi-award-winning debt management company, has two positions available for an Office Coordinator.

    The Office Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, friendly and welcoming demeanor and the ability to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can work independently and collaborate with colleagues to support the daily operations of the office.

    Requirements:

    • Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
    • Proven experience in office coordination or a similar administrative role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Front Desk Management:
    • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • Provide coffee, water and refreshments to guests

    Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative support to various departments and executives as needed.
    • Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms.
    • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence as required.

    Office Supplies and Inventory:

    • Monitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring that necessary items are in stock.
    • Maintain inventory records and place orders when supplies run low.

    Facilities Management:

    • Oversee office maintenance, including managing vendor relationships for repairs and maintenance.
    • Ensure a clean and organized office environment, including arranging for cleaning services.

    Event Coordination:

    • Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
    • Coordinate catering, equipment setup, and logistical arrangements for events.

    Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain and update office databases, records, and filing systems.
    • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

    Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
    • Implement safety protocols and procedures within the office.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with colleagues and departments to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
    • Provide support and assistance as needed to maintain a positive working environment.

    Special Projects:

    • Participate in and assist with special projects as assigned by management.

    Junior People Coordinator

    Job Description

    Junior People Coordinator 

    The IDM Group is in current search for a Junior People Coordinator to assist in coordinating our late shift transport coordination. This is a temporary position for the duration of one month. Renewal of the contract will be subject to the business need.  

    Tasks and responsibilities to expect in the role:  

    • Late shift transport administration 
    • Liaise with the IDM Group Team Leader transport representatives.  
    • Be the point of contact for the IDM Group with the transport service provider  
    • Facilitate all late shift transport administration – schedules, adding new joiners; terminations  
    • Capture transport deductions and send to payroll monthly. 

    Requirements we would like you to meet: 

    • Minimum qualification Matric  
    • 6 months experience in the administration environment beneficial  
    • Minimum 1 years’ experience in the IDM Group  
    • Experience in coordinating tasks, schedules, and activities  
    • Experience working on Outlook, MS Teams, Excel and compiling reports

    Product Owner

    Job Description

    Product Owner (Cape Town CBD)

    We are looking for an intelligent and creative individual to join the Intelligent Debt Management (IDM) team. IDM is growing quickly and needs a Product Owner to drive the development pipeline of our credit platforms and digital ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for the strategic and practical management of our platforms as they evolve and become an industry leader in the fintech space.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Degree in relevant areas. Commerce, IT, Data, Project Management, Engineering, etc.
    • 3 to 15 years of experience in the areas of product management, product ownership and/or development.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Work with internal and external customers to analyse needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
    • Owns the product roadmap.
    • Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
    • Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
    • Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions.
    • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
    • Accountable for the created product(s), delivering in the product model and communicating the product needs with business partners.
    • Asses value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
    • Identifies and help the client understand the business model, value and value proposition.
    • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
    • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
    • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams.
    • Represents team in front of stakeholders, clients or users.
    • Work closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
    • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
    • Follow our competitors and the industry
    • Increase an understanding of Agile practices, new technology opportunities and other new trends.
