JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and implement the Client Coverage, Sector and Provincial marketing / communication strategies and plans, with the result of delivering an enhanced client experience and overall growth of client insights. The role is responsible for providing strategic, operational and on-the-ground support to the Client Coverage marketing team; driving marketing activity and plans (end to end) for Client Coverage, with full responsibility and accountability for certain end to end marketing projects within Client Coverage marketing.

As Head of Payments Interbank and Regulatory Compliance you are responsible for support and oversight of all regulatory, interbank and industry compliance, alignment and involvement. The primary goal is to enable compliance in all payment services, payment operations, in South Africa, safeguarding Standard Bank’s reputation as a good corporate citizen and ensuring regulatory compliance and interbank alignment and compliance. Ensure compliance to all electronic payments regulation (Clearing rules and agreements) and manages change within the interbank environment. Holds responsibility as the Pasa Authorized Contact or main point of contact for regulators, banks and industry bodies. Represents SBSA at various industry forums and ensures the co-ordination of industry representation of SBSA across payment streams and bodies. Represents the bank with the view to supporting SBSA’s strategic intent in significant initiatives and strategic forums.
