    Deloitte Consulting: Senior Manager - Telecommunication

    Job Description
    As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions within the Telecommunication, Media and Technology (TMT) industry. Senior Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Senior Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. You will have the opportunity to lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.

    • Prior experience providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.
    • Ability to demonstrate experience in overseeing the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
    • Experience in developing and presenting proposals for business development activities.
    • The ability to travel up to 80%.

    Actuarial and Analytical Solutions (A&AS) - Actuarial Consultant/ Senior Consultant

    Job Description

    • Provide actuarial advisory services to an array of clients, across many industries and sectors
    • Develop and maintain client relationships
    • Build financial and mathematical models
    • Support project proposals and concept notes
    • Provide actuarial and technical direction to engagements

    Qualifications

    • Qualified / Part qualified Actuary with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience
    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science
    • Work experience in a client-facing role will be advantageous.
    • Healthcare experience would be preferential but will consider other Actuarial experience
    • Strong analytical skills.

    Actuarial and Analytics Solutions (A&AS): Senior Consultant

    Job Description
    Purpose of the role

    • A mid to senior-level experienced Senior Consultant to assist the Analytics team in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagements / projects.

    Qualifications
    Qualifications & Experience required

    • BSc Computer science degree or relevant Honours Degree. 
    • Minimum of three years relevant work experience.
    • Experience using the suite of Microsoft Office software (specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
    • Experience using relevant analytics platforms (SAS, SQL, Power BI).
    • Experience using Tabular Modelling, PowerPivot, Power Query and Visual Studio
    • Programming / coding skills advantageous (e.g. Dax, Python)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
    • Support management in the sales process and delivery of projects
    • Gain exposure to a wide range of projects, clients and industries
    • Assist with analysis to determine client needs and prepare client recommendations utilising a combination of industry knowledge, tools and technology
    • Demonstrate personal insight when solving business issues
    • Carry out research, data collection and conduct analysis
    • Compile financial models
    • Carry out analytical exercises such as customer segmentation analysis and activity-based costing

    Financial Services Advisory: FSA (Credit Risk): Senior Consultant

    Job Description

    • To support FS Advisory Credit Risk Team in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagements and projects. 

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:     

    • BSC Degree (Mathematics/Statistics/Quantitative/Financial Engineering or Actuarial Science. 
    • Financial Modelling experience– technical knowledge in PD, EAD, LGD, Basel II and IAS39.
    • Experience in building and developing IFRS 9 Models.
    • Financial services and market regulations knowledge and application: regulation 23, IAS39, IFRS 9 (intermediate level).
    • 2-3 years credit experience at a Bank or Consultancy.
    • Retail credit risk experience preferred.
    • Programming and coding skills: SAS, VBA, Matlab, R and Python.
