    Process Operator - Port Elizabeth

    Job Description

    • You independently operate and maintain at least one process or equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards). You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

    Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Manager, AMEA

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Support deployment & execution of the AMEA regional ambition, approach & strategic roadmap for RGM:
    • Support deployment & facilitation of AMEA activities in alignment with defined ambition & road map
    • Support BU/Market specific initiatives & activations to ensure alignment with AMEA objectives
    • Facilitate & co-ordinate with Markets to activate RGM led growth opportunities:
    • Execute & facilitate deployment of Advanced RGM training materials to all AMEA markets (playbooks, tools & methodologies), including localization of material where necessary
    • Support / lead RGM project deep dives or ‘sprints’ across prioritized markets to unlock growth opportunities and prioritize executional plans
    • Action governance & reporting requirements associated with protocols & commercial planning process:
    • Deployment of AC templates, trackers and supporting materials; Communicate with, educate & support markets on population of required outputs
    • Facilitate regional governance of RGM – including Price protocols, TFSO and agreed KPI delivery
    • Manage requirements for in-year drumbeats, including calendar management, sufficiency planning, template deployment & education of front line market teams on execution requirements
    • Update & maintain RGM ‘toolkit’ including training programs & playbooks to support Market usage:
    • Support / facilitate sharing of best practice RGM initiatives across AMEA markets
    • Own & update lever based playbooks and training materials in alignment with AMEA needs/progression
    • Own & update localized training materials; support deployment of global capability programs
    • Represent RGM for AMEA in key projects and work streams as identified & aligned within RGM calendar:
    • Directly support of RGM Director, BU’s & Markets with work tracks & ad-hoc projects as required

    Knowledge:

    • RGM Domain knowledge
    • Understanding of Industry, categories, and key markets
    • Quantitative and qualitative analysis and communication skills required.

    Technical / Work-based Skills:

    • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks.

    Qualifications:

    • Direct experience in RGM preferable, in AMEA or similar market dynamics
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a strong communication & influencing role
    • Understanding of full P&L & associated levers

    Plant Planning & Logistics Manager - Port Elizabeth,

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Responsible and accountable for production and capacity planning for the site in line with sales forecast
    • Manage warehousing of raw, indirect and packaging materials
    • Manage finished goods stock and ensure effective and efficient transportation
    • Control inventories of raw, indirect and packaging materials to define obsolete materials
    • Provide Finance with accurate stock reporting and value of the reserves in accordance with relevant guidelines
    • Optimize the process and execution of materials changes without impact on finished goods price in cooperation with Business Development function.
    • Ensure cost-efficient, timely and quality transportation of raw, packaging and indirect materials within the plant
    • Manage the claim and damages caused during transportation
    • Ensure compliance with all internal guidelines and external regulations.
    • Manage Plant Planning and Logistics Team by leading, coaching and guiding colleagues, providing the team with relevant information, and supporting development.
    • Liaise with other functions (e.g. QA, Procurement, Customer Service, Production and Sales to ensure alignment of activities

    Job specific requirements:

    • Logistics, Engineering, Commerce Degree or related.
    • Experience in project management
    • Minimum of 5-8 years logistics/planning experience, with demonstrated experience in inbound logistics
    • Experience in the FMCG/CPG industry is advantageous
    • Knowledge and experience utilizing SAP systems

    Health Safety & Environment Manager - Port Elizabeth

    Job Purpose

    • As HSE Manager you will ultimately provide support to the plant and assist with achieving the specific HSE Mondelez Objectives of the organization.
    • This job is responsible for the implementation, facilitation and maintenance of all Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental programs and processes at the Mondelez Manufacturing unit thereby ensuring a safe working environment prevention of asset losses, guaranteed compliance with relevant and applicable local Health and Safety and Environmental regulations and Mondelez policies, standards and procedures.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Responsible for managing, coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs and processes at the plant  in line with IL6S.
    • Participate in all regional HSE alignment activities and drive standardization for the Gqeberha plant accordingly
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Mondelez policies and continuous improvement in key identified measures and objectives
    • Prepare and build consensus annual plans for plant wide HSE initiatives
    • Oversee implementation of company HSE management systems
    • Provide leadership and administration to overall HSE program
    • Develop HSE performance standards for facility
    • Lead and coordinate site audits and ensure compliance
    • Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and follow-ups implemented
    • Ensure training and coaching for HSE is executed
    • Serve as primary point of contact for all HSE regulatory contacts
    • Take full responsibility for the Site Safety Pillar.
    • Lead emergency response planning
    • Ensure that all the facilities services to the site is managed to provide facilities support as needed within budget.
    • Ensure compliance with LOTO on assets for the site.
    • Lead the sustainability agenda for the site.

    Job Specific Requirements:

    • Degree/B-Tech in Safety Management/Engineering and or equivalent
    • SAMTRAC or NEBOSCH Qualification would be advantageous
    • Sound knowledge of HSE standards, audits and systems implementation
    • Good IT skills, experience in manufacturing systems such as SAP, MFG / Pro would be advantageous
    • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as knowledge of CI, Quality and SHREQ principles
    • Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5  years of management experience
    • Exposure to a shop floor with an unionized environment
    • Knowledge of maintenance, engineering, procurement, CS&L as well as labour relations
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills and be fluent in English
    • The ability to plan, organize and drive for results while constantly measuring the quality, cost and delivery.
    • The ability to analyse situations and make decisions that will have a strategic and long term solution to problems ensuring that they do not occur again
    • Excellent business acumen and an extensive knowledge of business operations and how they integrate, its goals, challenges, values, strategic vision and expected ways of operation
    • The ability to not just be a leader who motivates, leads by example and continuously challenges his team and the status quo to change and evolve.
