    Specialist: Credit Employer Intelligence

    Purpose Statement

    • To manage Credit risk through tracking Credit Granting Employer Policy and by analysing Credit data and operational intelligence to derive effective and useable management insight.
    • To design and propose Credit Granting Employer Policy Solutions

    Experience

    • 3 - 5 years relevant retail credit analysis experience (incl. SQL programming)

    Ideal:

    • Capitec Bank experience

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Financial Sciences or Statistical Sciences

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • Masters Degree in Financial Sciences or Statistical Sciences

    Senior Decision Scientist (JHB)

    Purpose Statement

    Delivering business solutions via a collaborative approach involving mathematical formulae, business tactics, technological applications and behavioural sciences to help senior management make data driven decisions.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 6 years’ relevant experience in statistical analysis (with relevant Degree with a major in  Data Science /  Mathematics / Statistics / Risk Management)

    OR

    • 4 years’ relevant experience in statistical analysis (Relevant Honours Degree with a major in Data Science / Mathematics / Statistics /  Informatics / Risk Management)

    OR

    • 3 years’ relevant experience in statistical analysis (Relevant Master’s Degree with a major in  Data Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Risk Management)

    Experience must include the following (within the Retail Credit Risk Management Environment):

    • Extracting and Aggregating Data from Large Relational Databases
    • Data Mining and Predictive Modelling

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
    • A relevant degree in Data Analysis or Mathematics

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant post graduate degree
    • Masters Degree in Data Analysis or Mathematics
