    Finance Administrator

    Job description:

    • NB NB Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a highly pressurised environment. Do not apply if not able to work under a large amount of pressure.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Administration of debtors customers’ accounts
    • Credit Control
    • Debtors age analysis
    • Handling COD customers
    • Administration of and managing of credit limits and credit applications
    • Cashbook processing and reconciliation
    • Creditors reconciliation

    Qualifying experience:

    • Debtors and Creditors experience
    • Tertiary qualification in finance would be an advantage
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience
    • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel at advanced level
    • ACCPAC experience highly preferable
    • Knowledge of accounting practices, principles and reporting of financial data

    Administrator

    The Administrator focuses on all Admin related duties include, amongst others:

    • Creating order numbers from quotations.
    • Sending order numbers to suppliers.
    • Ensure that invoices from suppliers are obtained as soon as the job is done and facilitated for payments.
    • Ensure that invoices are correctly processed and all related queries are clarified.
    • Scheduling and attending meetings, creating and distributing agendas at least a day before the meeting.
    • Accurately taking minutes during meetings and ensuring that minutes are distributed at least a day before the next meeting.
    • Assisting with the purchasing of mechanical equipment and spares.
    • Assisting with coordinating and planning daily maintenance and repair activities.
    • Making photocopies, printing and faxing documents as and when required.
    • Timeously handling telephone and email enquiries and escalating to the manager when not resolved.
    • Developing and maintaining an effective filing system, ensuring that documents are filed electronically and manually.

    QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

    • Grade 12
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advance Excel knowledge
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
