    Depot Manager : Bethlehem Depot

    Job Description

    • As a Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the following activities :

    Strategy:

    • To achieve the optimal mix of service and cost in the storage handling and delivery of our products and recommend areas of improvement in the Depot for the consideration of the Regional Depot Manager, for implementation to improve the efficiency and profitability of the Depot.
    • To ensure the adequate and safe receipt, storage, handling and of liquid hydrocarbons in the depot
    • To ensure effective management of the operating expenditure and working capital relevant to depot operations.
    • To report monthly consolidated results of the depot operations and any variances along with action plans to address anomalies
    • To recommend areas of improvement, through benchmarking and review, for consideration of the Regional Depot Manager to improve the efficiency of operation of the depot
    • To ensure business continuity and maintain effective contingency plans to minimise disruption of operational activities
    • To ensure effective inventory management and meet the targets of material balance maturity index
    • To manage key internal and external relationships to ensure good practice, productivity, and operational improvement
    • To manage the implementation of any agreements with other Oil Companies (OOC’s) and service providers to ensure the requirements of the agreement are met thereby contributing to sound business relations

    HSEQ:

    • To effectively manage and minimise the risk associated with depot operations by ensuring:
    • compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines and legal requirements within area of responsibility;
    • promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPI’s and risk reduction strategies;
    • that HSE competency requirements are enforced within area of responsibility.
    • Manage Maestro principles, identified TRA risks & critical equipment

    People Management:

    • To demonstrate and apply the necessary operational, managerial and leadership skills required for the effective running of the Area.
    • To effectively manage employees through applying the company People Management principles, and to develop, coach and mentor subordinates to promote a positive working environment which will attract and retain skilled staff and increase productivity
    • To provide a mentorship role to new and existing staff members ensuring competence of staff for safety critical and environmental protection activities.

    Governance:

    • To ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management, for area of responsibilit

    Context and environment

    • Meet requirements of Energy Regulator (NERSA), National Ports Authority and Railway safety Regulator among others.Change to environmental laws - Social: BBBEE requirements
    • Rail supply unreliable.
    • Deteriorating infrastructure – roads, rail lines ,water and electricity

    Candidate profile

    Ideally as a Depot Manager, you will possess the following:

    • Suitable 3-year tertiary qualification. (Engineering or Supply Chain and Logistics Management)
    • Extensive experience in stock management gained in a petrochemical, production or industrial environment.

    Pricing Analyst, Lubricants' Sales

    Job Description

    Strategy:

    • Support the implementation of the TSA Business Roadmap and other Lubricants/Specialities Strategies

    Lubricant sales :

    •  Export and Affiliates Price list maintenance: Develop the export and Affiliates price list monthly, and request approval from the

    Operations manager.

    •  Pricing Tool: monthly maintenance of the pricing tool, and identify opportunities for enhancements, training the sale team on the tool.
    •  Price load request to the pricing team: assist the sales team to have customer pricing loaded into SAP to validate the pricing is loaded correctly
    •  WSLP: develop the WSLP for new products, and prepare the WSLP for approval and update for general WSLP changes.
    •  Cost of Sales: regular reviews of product MAPs and variance analysis, including MAP review across depots
    •  Reporting: price expiry reporting and negative margin reporting to be done every 2 months, index Monitoring
    •  Pricing Committee: chair the monthly pricing committee meeting; Coordinate the preparation for the pricing committee including publication of agenda and minutes
    •  Debit and Credit notes: load into SAP on request, and validation of the documentation compliance
    •  Pricing Formula Management: Support sales team with a) update of the Pricing formula indices (updated in PowerBI) b) update of the pricing formulas used in key Mining/Industrial/OEM Franchise customers
    •  Business Analysis: Become the Lubricants champion in COMPASS (PowerBI application) - provide regular and detailed analysis of cost and revenue movement

    HSEQ

    • Ensure the Business Supports team’s adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standards, (Golden rules and Near
    • miss reporting), so as to minimise risks pertaining to company assets and protection of life.

    Governance

    • Ensure effective risk management and internal control.

    Candidate profile

    •  Appropriate business degree
    •  3 - 5 years’ experience in a pricing environment
    •  Experience in relevent Pricing modules in SAP
    •  Knowledge and application of TSA code of conducts and ethics
    •  Knowledge and application of TSA policies and procedures.
