Purpose of Position:
To perform routine and stat analyses of samples and maintain analysers / instruments in a Clinical Laboratory
Requirements:
HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology
Required Experience:
Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Windows, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: Quality Control, Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures, Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory, Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens, Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens, Train laboratory staff in order to ensure continuous development and education
Purpose of Position:
To provide the relevant depot with an effective administrative support service and to perform logging and route reporting and printing related tasks.

Required Experience:
Administration related work experience within a pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Medical Terminology, Knowledge: Meditech system
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general administrative tasks to ensure in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible, Performing logging related tasks in order to ensure that accurate records and documentation are maintained

Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered, Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information, Perform nursing procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services., Perform safety and quality control tasks to ensure that relevant standards are upheld.
