    Software Development Technical Lead

    We Want You:

    Can you take ownership, and engage regularly with software architects in order to ensure development within the Team is according to architectural guidelines? How about planning, designing, leading, and executing technical solutions, as well as improvements within the respective Software Development Team?     What You’ll Do

    Technical Leadership:

    • Provide technical leadership to the team through collaboration sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

    Quality of Software Implementation:

    • Ensure rigorous testing of any solution before deployment and create standards and processes within the team to align with these.
    • Ensure the delivery of a complete and technically appropriate solution which covers all the agreed specified tasks and user objectives and has been tested thoroughly.
    • Ensure relevant documentation is provided to support teams to reduce the development support load.
    • Where possible work to develop and implement a quality mechanism for the solution to analyse its own faults and provide reports prior to a critical failure.
    • Develop the solution that supports modification for future developers, thereby reducing the number of defects or negatively affecting system quality.

    • Implement improved processes that have a positive effect on the team’s performance and company's bottom line.

    IT Field Technician

    We are on a quest to find an IT Field Technician that has a passion for fixing computer systems and networks. An “IT artisan” that doesn’t carry any weapons, but is excellent in troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing equipment. We are looking for a lover of all things related to electronics, telecom equipment, network equipment and computers.

    The ideal function of this position is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems, including but not limited to voice, data, and wireless network services. The successful candidate might be based on site or might be required to travel to branches within our group and document site-specific infrastructure detail. We are not expecting you to be a Schumacher or Hamliton, but you should be able to get from point A to point B.

    • Responsible for following all company policies and procedures as well as ensuring all Hollywood Group-owned property and equipment is maintained and kept in working order and is always kept safe.
    • Troubleshoot and Respond to Multichannel Tickets logged within the required response and resolution Service Level Agreements (SLA).
    • Update Ticket entries with clear informative written English, without jargon or the use of acronyms.
    • Log all times correctly and accurately in the ticketing system.

    IT Helpdesk Technician

    Senior Cloud Engineer

    What You’ll Do:

    • Utilize the internet for recruitment by posting positions to appropriate Internet sources. Research new ways of advertising positions. Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates. Network with industry contacts, association memberships to source the best quality candidate. Aid Public Relations in establishing BET as a recognizable “Employer of Choice”.
    • Maintaining a pool of readily available candidates. (Ensure continuous follow-ups are made)
    • Formally start building a database of candidates that can be referred to.
    • Coordinate psychometric assessments. Scheduling psychometric testing as and when required by the Talent Manager. Send brief to the candidate and invites in terms of sessions. Administer assessment sessions. Obtain informed consent and keep on file to submit with final employee file to HR.
    • Providing daily reports and monthly reports, attending weekly recruitment reporting meetings on the status and turnaround times.
    • Ensure all BET reports are updated efficiently daily.
    • Strive to achieve monthly targets.
