    VOHE Officer - Mining Industry - R900k - R800k

    About the Job

    Description

    • A great mining company in Steelpoort, Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a VOHE Officer to join their team of professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintenance of Occupational Hygiene and Ventilation systems and programme
    • Implementation of Ventilation and occupational hygiene standards, working guides and procedures
    • Implementation and maintenance of Occupational Hygiene Codes of Practice
    • Condition of ventilation and occupational hygiene equipment and instruments
    • Audit and assessment of Emergency Preparedness and Programmes

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Advanced MEC Certificate
    • Diploma / Degree in Environmental Health
    • Member of the Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa and / or registration as Occupational Hygienist with the South African Institute of Occupational Hygiene
    • 6 - 8 years’ experience in a mining environment
