    Vehicle Personalisation Marketing & Planning Lead

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Understand the Accessories business from a commercial perspective
    • Understand local and regional competitive landscape on vehicle accessories
    • Identify opportunities to increase dealer channel accessories revenue YOY
    • Compile and manage the annual business plan and present it to key stakeholders (BoD Submission)
    • Forecast, monitor and report on monthly revenue

    Marketing

    • Cross functional collaboration with Marketing Communications and/or local agency to develop sound marketing strategies and tactical plans
    • Manage the dealer accessory catalogues 
    • Content creation for marketing material such as brochures, press releases etc.
    • Manage, maintain, and report on Ford’s Accessories website
    • Provide support for marketing events such as accessorizing vehicles and marketing material 
    • Plan and implement launch of eCommerce platform for accessories
    • Compilation and publishing of dealer bulletins
    • Provide support for dealer and Zone Manager queries

    Planning

    • Submit Vignette’s to IMG VP – Vehicle launch/ADHOC request 
    • Develop and submit business cases for new and upcoming accessories
    • Develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies for future vehicles’ accessories
    • Liaise with New Model teams to ensure successful launch of accessory range for future vehicles
    • Liaise with VP engineers to ensure timeous launch of key accessories
    • Engage Product Marketing personnel to understand vehicle features and capabilities

    Pricing & Inventory

    • Stocking of accessories in PDC – Forecast to PS&L
    • Manage pricing strategies for accessories
    • Maintain and report on monthly pricing actions for all dealer channel accessories
    • Liaise with Supply Chain to maintain healthy stock levels
    • Liaise with Purchasing team to ensure timeous launch of key accessories 

    Presentations and Reporting

    • Provide feedback by presenting in cross functional forums such as Go-To-Market, Franchise Room, Dealer Meetings and VP Status meetings
    • Liaise with Purchasing team to ensure timeous launch of key accessories 
    • Prepare reports as and when required for various meetings

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing/Engineering related field 
    • Min 5 years’ Retail Automotive industry experience
    • Accessory Aftermarket experience is advantageous
    • Sales experience is an advantage
    • Detailed knowledge of vehicle accessories market particularly light commercial vehicles
    • Up to date on the latest trends and technologies impacting vehicle accessory sales
    • Occasional travel across the dealer network, Ford suppliers and competitors will be required, therefore a valid driver’s license is a must
