    Trust Specialist

    Role Purpose

    • To provide an efficient and professional service to customers.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Achieve total revenue targets by either growing of existing clients (optimizing revenue opportunities) or by acquiring new clients
    • Drive an Increase in average balance of specific portfolio of assets as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the business
    • Control revenue and costs in the Trust and Investment department to achieve the company cost to income ratio as set per product line budget, in line with company standards
    • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
    • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members
    • Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders
    • Identify and source additional assets and build a book of assets under management
    • Acquisition of Trust business, both internal and external to the FirstRand Group in order to increase the value of assets under management and the scale of Group
    • Manage &amp and administer investment portfolio
    • Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
    • Identify and source additional assets and build a book of assets under management
    • Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing
    • Manage own development to increase own competencies

    Additional Requirements

     

    • 5+ years Fiduciary Experience
    •  Qualification: Law Degree, Finance
    •  Must have a sales element
    •  Must be able to build relationships
    •  Attract new clients
    •  Managerial exposure
    •  Maintaining high Networth clients and complex clients

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum Qualification: Relevant Degree or Diploma
    • Experience: 2 to 3 years relevant experience
    • Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent
