Specialist: Performance Management - Midrand at Vodafone Global Enterprise

Role purpose:

• To ensure we deliver an excellent network service to our customers by discovering actionable performance management patterns in data to manage, track, monitor, analyse, control and provide support to our internal and external stakeholders across the Vodacom markets. We deliver in an Agile way and embrace latest innovation and robotic process automation to ensure we deliver on the frontlines of disruptive technologies. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring, tracking, analysis, controlling and reporting of the performance of the Vodacom network across the markets
• Provide support and analytics towards Management, Engineering and Operational teams across markets to drive quality and customer experience
• Drive our development strategy of build-once and deploy many times across our partner markets.
• Interface and communicate effectively to internal and external customers across the various Vodacom markets
• Assist with improvement of processes to support our Technology Digital 2025 strategy.
• Drive automation uptake and foster a culture of innovation within the team.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Technical / Professional Qualifications:

• 3-year degree/diploma in Information systems/ engineering, or equivalent 

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Radio Access Network (RAN)/Transmission (TX) performance management role /development role
• Advanced proven SQL skills
• Proven database experience e.g: Oracle
• Python Skills (advantageous)
• Microsoft Power Suite of Tools e.g: Excel, Power BI and Power Automate (advantageous)
• Proven statistical analysis skills
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to drive and collaborate with team members to deliver results
