    Social Media Coordinator - Corporate Office Cape Town

    Description:

    • Successfully manage the brands social media platforms & campaigns.
    • Ensure monthly social media content plans are developed
    • Upload and schedule social media posts according to content plan
    • Successfully coordinate campaign on relevant platforms
    • Successfully coordinate, resolve and respond to customer queries
    • Successfully coordinate all direct marketing, specifically email and SMS, update database and send reports to stakeholders.
    • Actively research and engaging on current affairs and hot topics, to increase conversation to the benefit of each respective brand
    • Stay up to date with current industry, cultural and social trends
    • Assisting the Team Lead with various marketing activities.
    • Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications
    • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required
    • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.
    • Writing articles and promotional material for the company.
    • Uploading and maintaining correct filing of marketing material to online libraries.
    • Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases.
    • Managing events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials.
    • Ensuring the ongoing Supplier listing and vetting
    • Billing reconciliation
    • Delivery coordination
    • Build and maintain relationships with printers and suppliers.
    • Ensuring that quotations from suppliers are compatible and the best value for money.

    Requirements:

    • Degree or Diploma certificate in marketing, social media or related fields.
    • 0-2 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Computer literate
    • Knowledge of current digital trends and innovations
    • Proven working experience in community management
    • Experience in launching social media initiatives
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Good understanding of business and commerce
    • Creative writing skills (Copywriting)
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Ability to create content
    • Social media savvy
    • Understanding of community etiquette and respect
    • Ability to problem-solve when dealing with high pressure situations
    • Ability to identify and track relevant digital and social metrics
