    Site IT Asset Management

    Key Deliverables in position

    • Control the movement of IT Assets from ordering of assets, delivery to campus to disposal
    • Alignment with global support model for PC renewals and Global Managed printing services, providing active input to standards definition 
    • Deliver according to defined procedures, processes and SLAs 
    • Enhance documentation, and create comprehensive procedures in the PC Renewal and Printing disciplines

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Asset management

    • Ensure asset management databases are maintained by leveraging Ford Tools & systems, ensuring that all Laptop, Desktop, and printer assets are controlled and accounted for
    • Manage / design additional manual databases where Ford tools and systems do not have the capability, ensuring all desk side and printer assets are accounted for

    Asset forecasting

    • Manage assets through their entire life cycle from procurement to return or decommissioning
    • Ensure lease schedules with financial partners are renewed and/or returned timeously, avoiding penalties and financial pre commitments
    • Meet with business partners in the desk side and printing scope, to understand requirements & represent such requirements to management for consideration.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation and procedures outlining and detailing renewal process, asset management processes.
    • Maintain and produce regular inventory reports, using Ford tools as well as manual processes
    • Monitor and report out monthly on IT service metrics, including PCR statistics, asset fresh rates
    • Share knowledge and experience as required
    • Represents the "Voice of the Customer" to the rest of the IT organization

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Qualifications:  Relevant tertiary degree in IT or related field is desirable, 3+ years IT experience. Additional certifications in a financial field would be advantageous 

    Other Criteria 

    • Strong written/verbal communications skills, effectively engaging at a technical and non-technical level to different leadership levels within IT and business locally and regionally 
    • Proven Business and IT Analysis skills to identify and determine solutions to business constraints 
    • Solid Financial experience
    • Comprehensive previous asset management experience, including an active role previously in an asset management field
    • Strong customer focus with a Drive for Results, demonstrable Quality & Continuous improvement mind-set 
    • Able to self-manage time to effectively engage with global counterparts across time zones
