    Senior WordPress Developer

    Contract Type: 9 - 12 month Contract

    Working Hours: 07:00AM - 15:30PM

    Job Summary:

    As a Senior WordPress developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fast, efficient, and scalable WordPress themes and plugins. You will play a critical role in the full development cycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our WordPress sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP / HTML / CSS / JS.
    • Hand-code responsive HTML5/CSS3 with Bootstrap 5.x.x for front end development.
    • Implement custom JavaScript and jQuery solutions.
    • Create ACF Blocks for flexible content layouts.
    • Optimise WordPress sites for speed and performance, including caching strategies.
    • Collaborate with designers to translate designs into WordPress themes.

    Requirements

    To apply you must have 3 - 5 years of experience in:

    • WordPress theme and plugin development.
    • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5.x.x.
    • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and creating ACF Blocks.
    • Solid experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., jQuery).
    • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.
    • Version control using Git.
    • Experience working with Figma as the design to create reusable front end components

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
