    Senior Technician

    Requirements

    • An appropriate three-year post-matric degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering
    • At least five (5) years’ relevant experience
    • Physical fitness
    • A valid Code EB (08) driver’s licence.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Enforce the National Building Control Regulations
    • Investigate complaints
    • Inspections and routine monitoring (exemptions, zoning and special consent, business licences and building plans)
    • Investigate mechanical and ventilation related noise complaints in terms of the Noise Control Regulations
    • Perform administrative duties
    • Undergo skills training
    • Initiate and coordinate community involvement within Sub Districts.
