Senior Tax Accountant - Tax Manager at Flash Group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly tax calculation for Flash Group
• Preparing monthly VAT recon for Flash Group
• Managing all SARS queries for the Group
• Managing all tax returns, provisional tax
• Prepare quarterly base tax reporting with Pepkor
• Perform new and existing product vat assessment
• Managing Intergroup loan accounts and recovery charges
• Managing monthly group consolidation
• Analyzing journals, review all recon and supporting documents for the forex
• Preparing UK Group quarterly reporting
• Preparing TP document
• Dealing with international tax queries
• Reviewing accounting process and policy to improve efficiency using automation.
• Perform internal staff training and assist with any technical issues with VAT and tax
• Ensure adequate supporting documentary evidence is maintained for compliance purposes.
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks required by the Financial Manager and requests such as StatSA, analysis of general ledger accounts, internal & external audits, etc

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Newly qualified CA (SA)
• Additional tax qualification
• Strong technical skills in terms of financial accounting (IFRS) consolidation and tax
• Sage 300 experience preferential
• Advanced Excel skills
