Senior Systems Support Engineer - Midrand at Servest SA

Minimum Requirements    

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12); with higher Technical qualifications;
• Clear criminal record;
• South African citizen;
• Must have valid drivers license and own reliable Transport.
• Clear understanding of Server and PC Hardware and capable of IT Network configuration and fault finding.
• Microsoft SQL;
• C+ and HTML;
• CSS;
• Java Script;
• Application Development skills advantageous.
• Ability to work remotely on systems and fault find remotely.
• Will be required to be calm under pressure/ must be hard working and respect and ahead to deadline imposed either internally or externally;
• Must have a keen problem solving ability and must be able to think on their feet;
• Must have experience in working with other people in a Group;
• Must be able to approach problems in a rational and logical manner;

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Provide technical support for customers during our pre- and post-sales processes
• Repair and restore SQL Databases
• Address all product-related queries on time
• Support OEM Products in the Parking and Security field
• Train customers to use products effectively
• Application development and support for offsite control room
• Excellent communication skills and report writing
• Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours in line with Operational requirements
