Senior Manager, Portfolio Management - Cape Town at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The primary role of a Portfolio Manager is to manage investment portfolios for South African high net worth private clients, domestic and offshore, to acquire new clients and assets for the business, to ensure an optimal investment return for the client and to contribute to enhanced MD revenue growth. Managing an existing book of business as well as growing the AUM under management through the various channels and own efforts. Building relationships and working closely with all channels including the primary introducer of business, Wealth & Investment (W&I) wealth and relationship managers to grow the book. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

• Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
• Field of Study: Finance and Accounting
• Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: CFA. Completion of FAIS regulatory exams.

Experience Required

• Wealth and Investment Management 
• Minimum of 8 Years  leadership experience within asset management or senior portfolio manager experience preferably managing assets on behalf of High-Net Worth Clients. Decision-making track record.
