Senior Manager - Analytics and BI Group Digital at MTN

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The SM: Analytics and BI will be responsible for providing data insights, analytics and reporting based on key KPIs defined. They will also be responsible for driving standardization of reporting and KPIs (definitions across the markets The SM: Analytics and BI will need to work closely with the counterparts and Group Data & Analytics CoE, consultants and contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The SM: Analytics and BI & will drive the implementation of data and analytics programmes for Digital Services. The role will primarily focus on analysing and proposing reporting and insights dashboards sustainable business growth & profitability and internal efficiencies.
• The SM: Analytics & BI will be responsible for providing data insights, analytics and reporting based on key KPIs defined. They will also be responsible for driving standardization of reporting and KPIs (definitions across the markets.
• The SM: Analytics & BI will need to work closely with the counterparts and Group Data & Analytics CoE, consultants and contractors. The SM: Analytics & BI will lead the definition and approval of KPi reporting through the MTN governance forums. 
• Development of new models and metrics including but not limited to micro-segmentation
• Create the necessary mechanisms to ensure efficient sharing of learnings directly from the Opcos in a manner that allows easy adoption of demonstrated best practice
• Data repositories (data lakes) and automated insights generation center
• Digitalization blueprints and implementation roadmap
• Customer Experience models and measurement metrics

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Requirements 

Education:

• Bacelor’s of Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Intelligence or Marthematics
• Post Graduate Qualification
• Master’s decree would be advantageous

Experience:

• 5 - 8 years’ experience in data analytics or business intelligence experience Minimum 5 years in Telecommunications industry experience
• Proven track record to have worked across diverse cultures and geographies
• Proven track record in managing stakeholders across multiple functions
