    Sales Executive

    Role summary:

    We are looking for our first official Sales Executive to be part of a fast paced, forward-thinking startup. Due to the current size of the business and the rate at which we are maturing this role offers massive career growth opportunities and the potential to make a significant impact across the sales team. If you are passionate about sales and technology and are motivated to pursue a long-term career in sales, this is an opportunity not to be missed. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Work collaboratively with sales development representatives and partners to drive new business development.
    • Deliver personalised product demonstrations, tailoring presentations to meet the specific requirements of prospective clients.
    • Communicate the unique value proposition of rather.chat, highlighting how our solutions can transform client operations.
    • Ensure exceptional client support throughout the sales process – Address client concerns, respond to inquiries promptly, and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including booking meetings, negotiating, closing deals, and handling objections.
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of rather.chat’s products, services, and industry trends to offer expert advice to clients.
    • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders and operational teams both within and outside of rather.chat.
    • Regularly update sales activity and pipeline data in HubSpot CRM to ensure transparency.
    • Meet and exceed set sales targets.
    • Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and achieve collective goals.
    • Gather and relay feedback from customers or prospects to the internal rather.chat team to improve our product offering.

    Requirements: 

    • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Sales Executive role, with a preference for candidates experienced in SaaS or enterprise software sales.
    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
    • Strong interest in and understanding of technology.
    • Experienced in using CRM systems and sales prospecting tools.
    • Results-driven and self-motivated, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
    • Demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects.
    • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
