    Sales Administrator

    Job Description    
    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 Certificate
    • Relevant Tertiary Certificate

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3 years related experience in an engineering environment (preferably)

    Key Tasks:

    • Prepare quotations on BAAN as per the SOP (QTC 100 sales quotations)
    • Submit quotations to customers for spares required
    • Assist with spares forecasting
    • Acknowledge and sign off the purchase order proposals on a daily basis
    • Load customer orders on BAAN as per the SOP (QTC 100 sales order entry)
    • Generate documentation for delivery of goods to customers
    • Plan and check goods being loaded for dispatch to customers
    • Resolve GIT issues
    • Expediting of customer orders and back orders
    • Debtors collection and Creditors payments when required
    • Manage the interface between the sales and service team, branch and the customer to ensure all orders are
    • effectively processed
    • Liaise with customers with regards to their service and spares enquiries
    • Provide real time feedback to sales and branch managers regarding status of customer queries, orders
    • Utilise company admin systems to effectively capture and process customer orders and queries
    • Acknowledge and sign off the purchase order proposals on a daily basis
    • Resolve supplier and customer queries
    • Effectively work with all departments (Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, Branches and Marketing)
    • to ensure all customers queries, quotations and orders are effectively and efficiently processed and managed
    • Apply LEAN principles to operations
    • Provide a backup to sales administrative team to effectively distribute workload
    • General office admin duties
    • Adhere to SHE and housekeeping requirements
    • Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times

    Minimum Skills / Abilities:

    • Computer Literate – MS Office Suite, ERP Software
    • Good oral and written business communication at all levels
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
    • Ability to manage difficult customers and honour customer commitments
    • Ability to plan and prioritise work activities
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
