    Resource Coordinator x 3

    Job Description
    The Supply Chain Resource Coordinator is tasked with ensuring that every work package on the Rustenburg Base Metals Refinery site is stocked with the correct materials, tools and services in order to complete tasks safely, sustainably and timeously.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities
    • Identify specific risks within working area and adhere to discipline-specific plans/system to avoid these risks
    1. Use operational risk management systems
    2. Report on critical control performance within team
    3. Embed critical controls into daily work practices of team
    • Implement Safety & Health systems within work area
    • Effective deliveries of all resources identified in the various plans for various task packages
    • Determine planned supply dates and validating that supply dates will meet the Required Dates for Tasks.
    • Collate materials and tools for each work package and Task.
    • Arrange delivery of materials, tools and services to the specified workplace prior to the scheduled start time for each Task.
    • Check that the delivered materials, tools and services meet the required specifications for the Task.
    • Tracking of all deliveries according to Task Package
    • Reports & Audits
    • Drive delivery the sustainability activities as relevant to discipline and set out in the Life of Asset Plan to improve sustainability performance over time
    • Support the development of, and ultimately implement, a purpose-led, high-performing culture within the teams that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity
    • Implement management processes for employee & contractor management within work area
    • Manage compliance of the teams within work area with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) local requirements as a minimum level of site performance
    • Adhere to Anglo American compliance requirements and ensure compliance of teams within work area
    • Manage adherence to compliance governance within the teams

    This role is in the Supply Chain department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Resident Engineer or Section Manage.

    Qualifications
    You must have:

    • Logistics / Materials Management or Mechanical / Electrical/Industrial Engineering Diploma
    • Logistics / Materials Management or Mechanical / Electrical/Industrial Engineering Degree (advantageous)

    Experience required:

    • At least 3 years’ experience in materials management within the Mining / Processing / Manufacturing industry
    • Planning, scheduling or materials management experience
    • SAP MM / PM / EWM (advantageous)

    Technical knowledge:

    1. Knowledge of operational processes within scope of role
    2. Experience on mechanical and electrical equipment
    3. Logistics Knowledge
    4. Basic negotiation skills
    5. Basic financial metrics, cost and value management & budgeting tools
    6. Risk management techniques and critical controls
    7. Safety, health and environment, legislative, statutory, regulatory and permitting requirements
