Role Description

• As an intermediate-level SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using SAP BusinessObjects tools. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality BI reports, dashboards, and analytics. This role requires proficiency in BOBJ tools, data modeling, report development, and SQL querying.

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects tools, including Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports SAP Hanna, Dashboards and SQL.(Xcelsius), and Analysis for Office.
• Design and implement data models and universes using SAP Universe Designer (Information Design Tool - IDT) for data abstraction and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights through BI solutions.
• Conduct performance optimization and tuning activities to improve report and dashboard performance for large datasets.
• Provide training and support to end-users on using BI tools, accessing reports, and interpreting data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions with other systems and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in BI technologies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure the quality and reliability of BI solutions.

What will make you successful in this role?

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing BI solutions using SAP BusinessObjects tools.
• Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects suite, including WebI, SAP Hanna, SQL Crystal Reports, Dashboards (Xcelsius), and Analysis for Office.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with SAP Universe Designer (IDT).
• Solid SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of BI reports and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP BusinessObjects certification(s) preferred but not required.

Qualification and Experience

• Degree or Diploma and the required Certification with 6 to 8 years related experience.
