    BDR 1

    • The key purpose of this role is to work towards achieving growth in volumes sold, growth in market share and increased competitiveness through providing market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified segments.

    Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

    • Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
    • Manage and supervise Distributors of assigned sector (orders, payment, re-distribution.
    • Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in the customers and retail outlets.
    • Ensure merchandising (visibility of the brands in terms of POS and Chillers) in the customers and retail outlets.
    • Ensure chillers are properly placed in the performing outlet and used exclusively for IBPLC products in the assigned sector.
    • Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
    • Closely monitor actions of the competition.

    Profile:

    • Education
    • 3-year degree qualification.

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in a sales/marketing/FMCG environment.

    Key Attributes and Competencies:

    • Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license.
    • Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office.
    • Local area knowledge is a requirement.

    Consumer Compliant Specialist

    • The Key purpose of this role is to Proactively support the business strategy by ensuring that our consumers receive product that is consistent and of the highest quality. 

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • To be the first point of contact for all severe consumer related issues and manage the resolution within given timescales. 
    • To support Zone regions with  a central Consumer Customer complaint reporting system and improvement thereof. 
    • Drive compliance to all Global policies and procedures related to complaints whilst ensuring that systems are fully entrenched and sustainable. 
    • Support all the plants in the Africa Zone with quality problem solving, whilst instilling the correct behavior and accountability. 
    • Support the zone regional teams with Quality Incidents to ensure effective investigation, decision making and resolution is completed in accordance with the global policy. 
    • Ensure that Quality fundamentals are aligned and implemented to Voyager Plant optimization (VPO). 
    • Ensure that Crisis Management Teams are appointed, effective and are in place per plant per country in the Africa Zone. 
    • Driving a high performance culture through effective leadership and guidance.
    • Develop a strategy for the proactive management of the Zone consumer complaints
    • Optimise different communication channels such that we leverage feedback from our consumers through careline numbers, social media platforms, websites, etc.
    • Enable the collection of valuable information about the nature of the problem through structured data collection techniques. This serves as a trigger to the implementation of sustainable corrective / preventative actions and guide continuous improvement.
    • Liaise and coordinate with Regional Quality Assurance Managers to ensure plants manage the resolution of consumer and customer complaints within given timescales.
    • Implement, entrench and  manage Global Quality Processes and systems across Supply and Logistics teams
    • Support the plants to ensure effective investigation and problem solving resulting in sustainable corrective / preventative actions that will prevent reoccurrence of non conformities .
    • Promote knowledge transfer and shared learnings. Tailor and amend policies, standards and training material such that it is more adaptable for that geographical area in the Zone.
    • Manage and oversee actions and high profile cases to minimize the company's liabilities, including imposing financial penalties against consumers and customers
    • Train and coach Crisis Management Teams in all plants across the Zone. Shared learnings and annual reviews are non negotiable. 
    • Reimbursement system in place per country that is best suited for the geographical area
    • Effective forward traceability systems in place to allow for quick response in trade 

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant BSc or BTech degree 
    • Ideal candidate would have experience in Trade Quality management systems role
    • Expertise in area of quality or processes in Production, Quality Systems, Food Safety
    • Excellent knowledge of food / beverage industry rules, acts and regulations
    • Exceptional report drafting, presentation and engagement
    • Strong technical skills in identifying adulteration in goods
    • Experience in investigating complaints, problem solving and loop closure
    • Knowledge of quality, brewing and packaging management systems and processes
    • Familiarity with food production, customer service, hygiene, fire, and health regulations  
    • Ability to use process control software, databases, and inventory management software  
    • Ideal candidate would have experience in quality systems and have worked in middle/ senior management roles

    Distribution Controller

    • The key purpose of this role is to manage Distribution performance and activities in order to surpass delivery challenges and meet customer requirements whilst ensuring optimal utilization of company resources.

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • Lead departmental DPO (Distribution Process Optimization) implementation 
    • Lead departmental project and negotiate contractor cost to the best economical price 
    • Review department machine and man resources
    • Manage own and Team Development and Performance 
    • Lead your team and prepare a strategic plan for the financial year with insights for inclusion in the Depot Business Plan

    Packaging Machine Specialist (Electrical)

    • The key purpose of the role is to maintain, repair and optimize packaging hall machines to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards. 

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • Review SAP downtime in preparation for the morning meeting with the maintenance controller
    • Advance terminator to Unit manager level
    • Develop SWIs, SOPs, and schedules reviewed and train operators.
    • Training of PEST artisans and shift artisans to close skill Gaps
    • Obtain quotes for spare parts from OEM/AMM and or reverse engineering as required and manage the RTS process to recover ZBB.
    • Perform store walkabout and review store bin holding min and max levels
    • Support with shut planning by utilizing medium- and long-term action plans
    • Update AWS daily and track machine-specific performance and KPIs
    • Where requested, provide guidance and advice to the production teams on machine operation, machine fault finding, and correct responses to machine failure modes 
    • Where requested, provide coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer of machine operation to shift-based teams 
    • Carry out work during the planned, routine, and opportunity maintenance window by the planned maintenance schedule issued by the Planner 
    • Where scheduled work cannot be completed, feedback to the Maintenance Planner for direction, this may involve rescheduling the work or prioritizing outstanding work 
    • Assist fellow team members in the execution of their tasks during planned maintenance windows 
    • Complete any administration and SAP tasks in support of planned maintenance, Standby duties – be available for call out when required
    • Partake in maintenance postmortems to feedback problems, opportunities, and learnings from maintenance activities 
    • Carry out Autonomous Operations as per requirements 
    • Participate in machine grouping improvement using Artisan Workstation
    • Carry out routine maintenance activities by the maintenance schedule where problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance (where required, additional resources may be called in to assist) 
    • Verify that where running repairs have been carried out, this has addressed the problem 
    • Where necessary, call in additional resources to assist in problem-solving or escalate to the Maintenance Controller for direction 

    Profile:

    • Minimum N6 Instrumentation/Electrical (Must be trade tested)
    • Or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Process Instrumentation).
    • 5 years’ experience in an FMCG Environment 
    • Experience in Siemens S7 Simatic Manager, TIA Portal, and Allen Bradley PLCs
    • Good knowledge of Process loop checks and calibration of field instruments.
    • Good knowledge in Networks: As-Interface, Profibus, Profinet, Device Net and Ethernet. 
    • Drive knowledge in Danfoss, SEW , Simotion and ACOPOS
    • Strong Electrical and Instrumentation knowledge
