    Regional Inbound Replenishment Planner SAF

    Main responsibilities

    • Process proposals promptly
    • Perform daily review of system recommended actions provided by ERP, Inventory management and WMS to ensure inventory levels for assigned parts will meet forecast customer demand.  Make decisions to release, firm, cancel or defer parts based on current inventory and demand.  Identify and escalate exceptions promptly
    • Expediting orders when required to meet customer expectations
    • Track and expedite orders for incoming shipments and backorders
    • Review changes in item status for opportunity to cancel/modify open PO's to favorably affect inventory
    • Communicate updates to Order Fulfillment and Customer Care (when applicable) team so that accurate purchase order information for promise dates on sales orders is maintained when orders are not programmatically updated
    • Monitor PO/DO/RO confirmation by suppliers and trigger any issues related thereto 
    • Resolving ACIGNs by providing quality information or appropriate escalations in a timely manner (DC)
    • Surplus return coordination
    • Execution of surplus orders for regional and global surplus returns in compliance with the surplus return policy
    • Arrange transportation with nominated forwarders.
    • Redistribution Coordination
    • Execution of redistribution orders for regional and global redistributions in compliance with the Redistribution policy
    • Coordination and execution of reactive redistributions to support with breakdown escalations
    • Arrange transportation with nominated forwarders.
    • Communicate priorities to suppliers
    • Download and update the open purchase and/or distribution order report daily to ensure all orders have been received by the supplying entities.
    • Identify and escalate opportunities to adjust supplier practices to improve cost/service levels for Epiroc
    • Maintain open and effective communications with all personnel regarding supply issues (e.g. PO/DO/RO proposals, stock levels, safety stock issues, faulty BOM (service jobs), etc); and their resolutions and escalate when appropriate
    • Review and update weekly tracking reports to monitor all forwarders and supplying entities performance and pass information on the divisional inventory management team
    • Involve with inventory planning and assist in resolving stock discrepancies
    • Support Supply Chain goals in inventory holding cost reduction efforts
    • Act as the link between expediting team and inventory control team to highlight any issues regarding stock availability based on backordered items
    • Participate in employee development programs including product and application training, business and personal development opportunities (valid for Lead role)
    • Facilitate/Escalate and assist with problem resolution with Accounts Payable related to purchase and or distribution orders/receiving.
    • Co-ordinate all imports including clearing instructions to the clearing agents
    • Additional duties relevant for the function in the region/sub-region/country may occur
    • List of specific tasks:
    • Material Call-off, replenishment of regional stock locations. LDC, Consignment and Service shops
    • Tracking inbound shipment
    • Sub-regional re-distribution
    • Expediting past due orders
    • Internal returns from consignments and Service shops
    • Rejected material handling and claims (Wrong quantity and poor quality)
    • Monitor inventory levels and follow up for all stocking locations to a specific operations center
    • The IR Planner only orders stocked articles based on the Planning tool system GIM. Parts and Consumables not normally stocked are only ordered based on placed customer demand in ERP-system.

    Key requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent education is required
    • At least 5 years’ experience in similar role
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
    • Computer Skills Required - MS Office Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel).  Experience working with ERP/WMS is desired.
    • Experience in planning and/or purchasing of components as well as equivalent work is meritorious.
    • Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
    • Local language requirements specific for the SCOC (to be defined)
    • High school diploma or equivalent education is required or equivalent experience
    • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc
    • Business oriented and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
    • Openness to change and reactiveness
