    Regional Account Manager (Bloemfontein)

    • This IT hardware company has a position available for a target driven individual who is able to work under pressure, and as part of a team who will manage sales and relationships for their allocated customer base.  Reporting to the regional sales manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with clients in their allocated region, increasing sales, making outbound calls, processing orders and working closely with our sales team to ensure seamless efficiency of the sales process. Your strong sales and communication skills coupled with relevant electronics product knowledge and drive for growth could secure this position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Matric and a relevant sales training.
    • At least 2 years strategic account management experience at an IT Distributor.
    • Experience in solution sales and relationship management.
    • Extensive knowledge of consumer electronics, IT hardware & software and electronics.
    • Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and driving new business.
    • Excellent computer literacy and reporting skills.
    • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable with outbound calls.
    • Professional, well presented and target driven.
    • A home office with good internet connection (Fibre / LTE / 5G or similar) and loadshedding backup solution
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Reliable transport to be used to visit customers in Bloemfontein, Kimberly and surrounds.

    Requirements

    • Strategically align product and market focus with customer base.
    • Build and maintain growth targets and sales pipeline.
    • Identify and penetrate new opportunities for customers.
    • Identify opportunities for business growth and structure appropriate deals to create demand.
    • Active use of calendar and Sales pipeline management to administrate activities.
    • Daily reporting prepared and shared with sales team.
    • Initiate and Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Maintain regular communication with allocated customer base via telephone, email, instant messaging and customer site visits.
    • Effectively communicate with all departments and provide useful feedback.
    • Manage allocated accounts and deliver profitable, long term value to customers.
    • Make outbound sales calls and set up meetings with existing and potential customers.
    • Process quotations, sales orders and ensure successful delivery of orders.
    • Work with Sales team to meet group target.
    • Consistently reach and exceed sales targets.
    • Manage deal processes from concept to closure.
