• Fives Services Mzansi is actively seeking a South African Citizen in a permanent position as Project/Engineering Department Manager to join its teams in Richards Bay, South Africa

Your role will be to: 

• Lead the Projects and Engineering departments with the objective of ensuring all equipment installation / modernisation projects (including your own assigned projects) are delivered safely, within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality at our customer sites (Aluminium Heavy Equipment Industry). 
• You will oversee the portfolio of projects and engineering, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress as well as reporting on various departmental statuses. 
• You will be required to implement the required processes and procedures to ensure the two departments are streamlined and working proactively and efficiently.
• This role will also ensure that project and engineering resources are efficiently allocated and have the correct tools and processes in place and those resources are trained and equipped to deliver successfully. 
• You will plan, chair and record monthly Project Review Meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• You will be required to follow the procedures and rules for health and safety. 
• This position also requires regular travel to Mozambique

Profile

• We are seeking someone who has a Degree in Project Management and/or Engineering
• 4 years of Project experience in heavy equipment environment
• 4 years experience in Projects and/or Engineering senior management position. 
• Aluminium industry experience will be beneficial.
• ECSA Qualification will be beneficial.
