About the Job
Job Responsibilities:

•  To track competency of subordinates and provides leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
•  To ensure the health and safety procedures and environment policies are followed, and company guidelines are implemented.
•  Develop and execute the daily Production plan in conjunction with the Production Managers to reach the business objectives related to production volume, cost, quality, etc.
•  Establish and maintain a standard performance of the Department.
•  Ensure that the manufacturing principles tally with the company’s vision and priorities.
•  Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned hours.
•  To coordinate, set up and implement operating procedures for all production activities this will be done with the guidance of the Production Manager.
•  Ensure that deadlines are followed up continuously with the Production Departments.
•  Draft a timescale for the job.
•  Allocate resources once manufacturing priorities have been established.
•  Circulate Job cards to the Departmental Managers.
•  Ensure the layout and plans are included on the Job cards.
•  Attend production daily production meetings and feedback to management.

Job Requirements

•  Minimum tertiary education: A diploma/degree in Business Management/ Operations Management or other relevant qualification.
•  5-10 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment.
•  Extensive knowledge in the Print Industry
•  Broad knowledge in Quality Control Processes and Production Planning Processes.
•  Previous supervisory experience
•  Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports
•  Strategic planning skills
