Product Owner: Logistics and HR at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To understand and translate the future Capitec strategy and objectives into a vision, business models and roadmap for the HR Division and Enterprise Logistics functions (Asset & Procurement Management). To further optimise the current systems and business processes used by HR and Logistics functions through;
  • prioritisation of initiatives;
  • coordination of delivery teams and vendors;
  • driving systems development work through the IT Feature Teams as a Product Owne  

Experience

Minimum:

• Work experience within a Logistics functions
• At least 5 years' experience in a SAP Logistics Business Analysis- or Product Owner environment
• Proven experience of collaborating with internal stakeholders on an executive or senior management level.

Ideal:

• Proven experience in the application of one or more of the following:
• Application of procurement best practices within an ERP (SAP) environment
• Application asset management best practices within an ERP (SAP) environment

Qualifications (Minimum)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Data Analysis or Similar

Knowledge

Minimum:

• Knowledge of the procurement and asset management best practice processes
• Application of the Agile methodology to build or configure software
• Understand the "what" well enough to know how to translate what can be done into meaningful value to the client.
• Knowledge of HR best practices
• Knowledge of ERP Logistics system (SAP, Oracle) principles
