Procurement Officer at EarthStream

We are seeking a Procurement Officer / Trader to join a leading agricultural company based in Kimberly.

The main purpose of the role is to manage the procurement, trading and contracts administration strategy and process that will ensure the sound administration of contracts. The ideal candidate would have sound project procurement skills within the agricultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure profitable contracts
• Marketing management
• Finance inset assist and inset budgets on Lucerne and forages
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of goods and service
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of goods and service
• Ensure that depots are fully utilized and maximum tonnages are stored

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in supply chain/procurement and marketing. NLT grading certificate
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in commercial and project procurement and marketing in an agricultural or corporate environment
• Exposure to international procurement and marketing terms and conditions.
• Basic knowledge of applicable commercial legislation
• Knowledge of contract management
• Knowledge of exports.
• Good negotiation skills
