Job Description

• The successful incumbent will spearhead the procurement process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.  The Procurement Manager will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchasing of all the goods and services the company needs to support its daily operations.

Requirements

• Relevant B.Com Marketing/ Risk Management degree
• Proven experience in successful procurement strategies
• Proven network and market intelligence.
• 3 - 5 Year's experience within the fertilizer industry
• Humble, Hungry, Smart, Team Player & Bold

Duties and Responsibilities

• Purchases for:
  • Raw materials: macro and micro.
  • Packaging materials
  • Foliar feeding products
  • Biologicals
• Continuously stay abreast of fertilizer trends, stock levels and prices; both locally and internationally.
• Build long-term relationships with product suppliers to manage terms and availability of product.
• Always putting Multi Green in a position to be competitive within the fertiliser industry.
• Create new opportunities as well as demonstrating innovation with existing products.
• Close collaboration and liaison with internal departments that include Multi Green Management and relevant divisional heads.
• Close collaboration with administrative staff to ensure stock-at -hand.
