Plumbing Technician/Plumber at Bidvest Prestige

Position Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in rental toilets. The Plumbing Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure that all plumbing projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, refurbish and maintain plumbing systems in rental toilets and cabins.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems.
• Determine the best course of action for repairing or replacing plumbing components.
• Operate various tools and equipment necessary for plumbing work.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete plumbing projects in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all work is completed according to industry standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Stay current on all plumbing techniques, tools, and regulations through ongoing training and education.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Plumbing role as Technician or Assistant.
• Valid PIRB plumbing license or certification.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
