    Project Manager

    • In this role, the Project Manager will cultivate a collaborative and efficient work environment, managing both internal teams and external partners, including freelancers, contractors, and suppliers. With a keen focus on risk management and continuous process improvement, the Project Manager will ensure seamless communication, resource allocation, and adherence to project plans. Their leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and dedication, ultimately contributing to the company's vision of designing experiences that matter.

    Accountabilities & Metrics 

    • Develop Comprehensive Project Plans: Create detailed project plans for all new projects within two weeks of project initiation.
    • 100% project plans developed and approved by management and clients before commencement.
    • Resource Allocation and Management: Allocate resources for all projects within the first week of project approval and adjust weekly as needed.
    • Maintain a resource capacity utilization rate of at least 80% across all projects.
    • Budget and Timeline Tracking: Implement and use a project tracking system to monitor project timelines and budgets in real-time.
    • Ensure 95% of projects are completed within 5% of the initial budget estimates.
    • Risk Identification and Management: Identify potential project risks early and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
    • Reduce project delays by 20% through proactive risk management.
    • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Manage internal teams, freelancers, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
    • Conduct weekly cross-functional meetings with 100% attendance from relevant teams.
    • Client and Management Reporting: Develop and distribute detailed project status reports bi-weekly to management and clients.
    • Achieve a 95% on-time delivery rate for project status reports.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement at least 5 process improvements per quarter to enhance project management efficiency.
    • Increase the on-time project completion rate by 15%.
    • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure effective communication protocols are in place and adhered to by all project stakeholders.
    • Achieve a 90% satisfaction rate from internal teams and clients on project communication effectiveness.

    Key Criteria/Requirements 

    Educational Background:

    • Ideally, a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Relevant Work Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in the design or exhibit industry.

    Project Management Skills:

    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Monday.com), excellent organizational and communication skills, proven leadership skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and high attention to detail.

    Technical Knowledge:

    Knowledge of design processes, experience with human resource planning tools/software, and ability to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

    Hub Supervisor

    Purpose of the Job

    • To ensure the  Logistics hub is managed effectively and efficiently to maintain optimal service levels and KPIs.

    Roles & Responsibility 

    • Ensure handover is read to establish if any action is required before off-loading/loading of vehicles
    • Allocate checker and general worker to their designated areas in order for loading or off-loading to start
    • Ensure all relevant documentation is in line and received
    • Ensure that all emails are checked for any urgent messages or manual manifests from the Dispatching Depots
    • Ensure that all freight is scanned correctly and record any damages/shortages and action in accordance with the Linehaul procedure
    • Ensure that pictures are taken of all damages and wet parcels received as well as all short consignments to be recorded and notifications as well as pictures are sent to relevant parties
    • Ensure that all Linehaul manifests are debriefed and authorized on the Freightware system
    • Ensure that all loads, local and regional, are loaded correctly
    • Ensure that all parcels are scanned out of the hub onto a delivery manifest
    • Ensure that each checker scanning uses the correct details when generating a delivery manifest, such as to ensure each driver, route, vehicle registration number, and departing date are entered correctly onto the manifest
    • To oversee and check each vehicle that is loaded to ensure that each vehicle is fully utilized on the specific route it is going onto
    • To ensure that each delivery manifest is signed off by the checker and himself
    • Ensure that the debriefing sheets and route sheets for each manifest is completed in full and ensure that all add on manifest are filled in on the pre-loaded vehicles debriefed sheets
    • Ensure that all drivers leaving in the morning with pre-loaded vehicles sign for their seal verifications against the seal verification register on the night shift debrief sheet
    • Ensure that all debrief sheets are handed to the debriefing department for further completion before being handed to transport
    • Validate that all manifests created are authentic and correct, and should any discrepancies occur, investigate deviation and correct to conclusion
    • Run all status reports to ensure that all reports are clear and to ensure that all freight is handled according to their lead times and expected delivery days
    • To print status reports daily and ensure all reports are according to Value standards
    • Ensure that the Freight on floor report is scanned and printed daily on both night and day shift
    • The freight on floor report to accompany the status reports for the daily operations meeting
    • To be able to operate in shift work alternating Day and Night when required
    • To be able to Debrief transport and Hub Manifests
    • Must be able to control all aspects of Collections and capture accordingly

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar environment required
