    People Information Systems Officer

    This role is accountable to the People Information team leader with a core focus on accurate and reliable Colleague information in the Oracle system, service delivery through Service Now, reporting and queries.
    Key responsibilities:

    • Accurate updating and capturing of Colleague information in Oracle upon request
    • Accurate capturing of missing information for new joiners
    • Creating new positions in Oracle and providing this information to Recruiters
    • Accurate updating of Partner information in Oracle
    • Central liaison for the KPMG provident fund (Alexander Forbes) which includes communication and dealing with queries for existing Colleagues and exiting Colleagues
    • Running and distribution of all standard People reports in the required timeframe (employee listing, new joiners, monthly induction list, weekly movement notifications and departures)
    • Accurately and timeously attending to general queries logged in Service Now (No longer than 24 hours)
    • End-dating of Colleagues in Oracle for reasons other than resignation or contract expiration
    • Updating Internal Transfers and change of working hours in Oracle
    • Ensuring that all Colleague information is up to date and accurate with the monthly pay run
    • Central liaison with the payroll department and ITS regarding any Colleague information
    • Providing guidance and mentorship to the interns in PIS
    • Perform Quality checks on information in oracle and work closely with functional HR teams to maintain the integrity of data on the system.
    • Assistance on Ad-hoc PPC projects

    Skills and attributes required for the role:

    Skills:

    Experience / Working Knowledge of:

    • A minimum of 18 months experience in data capturing in a People administrative role
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Full understanding of People processes
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
    • Good knowledge of Oracle and Service Now
    • Good understanding of the KPMG provident fund and Payroll requirements
