Job Overview

• Conducting Inspections, Installations and Repairs on Komatsu Mining equipment

Key Job Responsibilities

• Conducting Inspections, Installations and Repairs
• Identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, conducting repairs, replacements or assembling equipment according to KMC technical drawings/manuals
• Adhering to engineering specifications and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and Repair Electrical and Mechanical Problems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems using testing equipment and technical expertise.
• Identify the root causes of issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed. This may involve troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical circuits, fixing faulty wiring, and or replacing defective components.
• Read and Interpret Electrical Drawings and technical specifications.
• Safety Compliance, ensure that all safety procedures are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Qualified Millwright
• Valid Flameproof Certificate advantageous
• Be able to read mechanical and electrical schematic and wiring drawings.
• 3-5 years Hydraulic and electrical fault finding experience
• Valid crane license advantageous
