Mechanical Engineer at Communicate Recruitment

Description:    

• Review new architectural and as-built hard copy drawings.
• Inspect buildings and compile due diligence and dilapidation reports.
• Design new systems for compliance with local and international building regulations.
• Attend internal design and concept meetings.
• Attend project online and in-person meetings with engineers and clients.
• Coordinate services with architects, engineers, and clients.
• Conduct site visits to mark up as built/ existing services.
• Issue cost estimates, cost reports, and payment certificates.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1-5 years’ experience in either HVAC and energy analysis or wet services or fire services.
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Carrier HAP/ Load Estimator
• BIM 360
• Must have knowledge of local SANS and international regulations.  

Qualification:

• BTech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
